Blue Jays vs. Dodgers odds tilt toward Los Angeles again in Tuesday’s World Series rematch at Rogers Centre, where elite starters Kevin Gausman and Yoshinobu Yamamoto set up a pitchers’ duel after Monday’s 14-2 Dodgers’ rout in the series opener.

NRFI
With two premium pitchers on the mound, it’s a little surprising there isn’t a little more juice on the NRFI for this matchup.
Both Gausman and Yamamoto have perfect 2-0 NRFI records this season, and both of these elite starting pitchers are in good early form.
After Monday’s offensive outburst that saw 16 runs on the board, we’re betting the waters will calm a little bit with a classic pitchers’ duel on Tuesday night before the ball gets turned over to the bullpens.
Look for both of these starting pitchers to establish themselves early in this contest and assert their dominance.

Betting the Blue Jays (4-6 SU, 2-8 ATS, 5-5 o/u)
After opening the season with a three-game sweep of the Athletics, Toronto has just one win over its last seven games to fall two games below .500 at the 10-game mark.
But what’s more concerning than its poor start is that injuries continue to mount, particularly to the pitching staff. Max Scherzer exited after just two innings on Monday with a forearm issue, adding another body to the team’s long list of injured pitchers (see injury section below).
Toronto was forced to use five relievers in the lopsided 14-2 loss, including using catcher Tyler Heineman as an emergency option in the ninth inning, adding to an already troubling workload for the bullpen. Blue Jays relievers have already thrown 51 1/3 innings, the second most in the majors behind the Chicago White Sox (53 2/3 innings).
Betting the Dodgers (8-2 SU, 6-4 ATS, 6-4 o/u)
After scoring 31 runs in a three-sweep of the Washington Nationals over the weekend, the Dodgers’ bats remained hot on Monday, connecting for 14 runs on 17 hits against the slumping Blue Jays.
Dalton Rushing blasted a pair of home runs for the Dodgers, who belted a total of five long balls on the day to increase their MLB-leading total to 21 this season.
The Dodgers have won four straight games and own the best record in the majors at 8-2.
Probable starting pitchers
Toronto: RHP Kevin Gausman (0-0, 0.75 ERA, 0.25 WHIP, 15.75 K/9)
Gausman’s first two starts of the season were nearly flawless, with the right-hander throwing 12 innings of one-run ball while amassing 21 strikeouts against the Colorado Rockies and Athletics.
Of course, he’ll face a much stiffer test against the Dodgers, a team that touched him up for six earned runs over 12 2/3 innings across his two starts in the World Series last year.
The 35-year-old’s splitter has been devastating to start the season, holding the opposition to a .083 batting average and .149 xBA with a 42.9% whiff rate.
Los Angeles: RHP Yoshinobu Yamamoto (1-1, 3.00 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, 6.00 K/9)
The Blue Jays will be hoping Yamamoto doesn’t replicate his success against them from last postseason, when he held Toronto to just two runs over 17 2/3 innings of work to help lift the Dodgers to a World Series title.
The 27-year-old righty has been solid to start 2026, allowing a pair of earned runs in each of his first two starts against the Cleveland Guardians and Arizona Diamondbacks. He’s also coughed up two home runs, though, amassing just eight strikeouts across 12 innings.
Yamamoto’s splitter has literally been untouchable early this season, holding opponents to a .000 batting average and .136 xBA with a 41.7% whiff rate.
