NBA Playoff bracket predictions for 2019
NBA Conference Finals predictions time is here as four teams remain in the hunt for the Larry O'Brien Trophy. The Golden State Warriors are Western Conference chalk - Milwaukee Bucks are Eastern Conference favorites. Many NBA playoff predictions expect both number one seeds to meet in the NBA Finals. The Toronto Raptors and Portland Trail Blazers strongly disagree.
Not following the 2019 NHL Stanley Cup Playoff path, where low (2 vs 8 and 2 vs 5) seeds remain. NBA Conference Finals have two great (1 vs 2 and 1 vs 3) top seed battles.
With top seeds going 11-1 in the 2019 playoffs, many bracket predictions NBA style remain in contention. Being as high NBA Power Ranking squads are still in the hunt - Conference Finals NBA playoff predictions are challenging. Hoop fans should be happy as the high seed battles will be brilliant the rest of the way. Following a 3-1 NBA Conference semifinal series record (we missed Philadelphia) here are our 2019 NBA playoffs third round predictions.
(1) Milwaukee Bucks vs. (2) Toronto Raptors
Full marks, for their heavy favorite NBA playoff series betting lines, Milwaukee has rolled over Detroit and Boston in the first two rounds of the playoffs. The Bucks punted the Pistons (4-0) by a 122-98 average margin in the quarterfinals. After a Game 1 loss at home - Milwaukee won four straight, by a 119-103 count, to eliminated the Celtics in the Conference semifinals.
"Toronto defeated Milwaukee 4-2 in the 2017 NBA first round playoffs. Bucks rocked the Raptors 3-1 during their 2018-19 East season series."
Finishing second in the East, Toronto loses the home-court advantage they enjoyed during their playoff series wins over Orlando and Philadelphia. The Raptors easily dismissed the Magic (4-1) but Canada's Crew needed a Kawhi Leonard Game 7 buzzer-beating bucket to knock off Philadelphia in seven games. We don't like the #2 East seed Raptors chances versus #1 Milwaukee.
Eastern Conference Final Pick: Milwaukee (1.45) takes down Toronto.
(1) Golden State Warriors vs. (3) Portland Trail Blazers
Golden State continues their quest to be the first 3-Peat NBA Champions since the LA Lakers (2000-02) turned the triple. After a 4-2 quarterfinal series win over the Los Angeles Clippers, the Warriors knocked off arch-rival Houston Rockets during six hard-fought battles. While he should be OK moving forward - the health of Dubs stud Kevin Durant is a slight concern.
Series Final Update: Despite missing Kevin Durant for all four contests, he should be back to battle the East winner, Golden State swept Portland 4-0 to win the West!
Following a dominant 4-1 quarterfinal victory vs the Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland advanced to the West Final with a 4-3 Conference semifinal win over Denver. Playing lights out in the postseason, Damian Lillard has led the Trail Blazers in scoring six times, and assists eight times, during eleven contests. While it's been a nice run - the Trail Blazers won't whack the Warriors.
West Conference Semifinal Pick: Golden State (1.20) stops Trail Blazers.

What are the Types of NBA Playoff Odds
Sportsbooks offer nearly all of the same type of regular season standard and exotic bets for NBA playoff odds.
NBA Playoffs Moneyline
NBA playoff moneylines are a standard type of bet which involves predicting the straight up winner of an individual game during the post season. In North America, moneyline are often published as positive and negative numbers.
For example, if the New Orleans Pelicans are -150 favorites over the New York Knicks, you would need to bet $150 to win $100. Since the Knicks are the underdogs, they would have positive odds to win around +200, which means that you would win $200 for betting $100 on New York.
NBA Playoffs Spread
Vegas sports book offer NBA playoff spread betting throughout the post season. These wagering providers publish an estimated margin of victory for an individual game and fans wager on whether teams will beat the spread.
If the Toronto Raptors are listed as 6.5 point favorites over the Boston Celtics, Toronto would need to win by seven points or more to beat the spread and win the bet. However, if the Celtics lost by 6 points or less - or won the game straight up - Boston would win the spread bet.
NBA Playoffs Over Under
Over/unders for NBA playoff games are the third type of standard bet offered after the regular season finishes. Sportsbooks estimate the total number of points that will be scored by both teams during an individual match, and bettors predict whether teams will score more than or less than the total listed.
If the Raptors and the Celtics are expected to have a shootout, a sportsbook might offer a total over/under of 215.5 points for the game. Over win the bets if Toronto and Boston score 216 points or more, while under wins if the teams score 215 or less.
NBA Playoffs Futures and Props
Sportsbook betting odds provide NBA playoffs futures throughout the season, updating the odds as teams rise and fall. Bettors predict the team which will win the NBA Finals, or their respective conferences.
