The playoff picture is still unclear entering the final week of the CFL regular season.
Although we know the six teams that will be competing for the Grey Cup this season, each of the four games on the Week 21 schedule will have playoff seeding implications, making it an exciting weekend to bet on Canadian football. It’s still not decided who will handle hosting duties, what the matchups will be, or which team will cross over into the East Semi-Final.
CFL Week 21 best bet
Stampeders spread -4.5
Calgary Stampeders -4.5 spread: -125 @ Betano. Motivation will be high for the Stampeders to claim a win over the Elks in this contest in order to have the best chance at hosting the Western Semi-Final next week. They’re 6-3 at home this season (4-4 on the road), and having home-field advantage in that contest greatly increases their chances of meeting the Roughriders in the Western Final. The Elks are out of playoff contention and have nothing to play for, a major reason why they’re planning to rest five key starters (RT Brett Boyko, WR Kurleigh Gittens Jr., WR Arkell Smith, DL Jared Brinkman, and G Carter O’Donnell) that are banged up but would be playing if it was a meaningful contest for the team. Look for Calgary to win this one by a touchdown or more, but always shop around at the best online sportsbooks for the best prices on spreads.
