CFL Week 10 Anytime Touchdown Prop Bets: 3 Players To Target

Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive end Celestin Haba (45) tackles Toronto Argonauts wide receiver Damonte Coxie (86) at BC Place

The CFL regular season keeps rolling along with four matchups on the Week 10 slate.

Favourites went 4-0 straight up and against the spread in Week 9, but home favourites have gone just 7-12 against the spread overall this season.

This week, the action gets underway Thursday when the BC Lions visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, who have won six straight games after starting the season with two consecutive losses. On Friday, the Montreal Alouettes will host the Edmonton Elks, and a doubleheader is scheduled for Saturday, with the Ottawa Redblacks visiting the Toronto Argonauts and the Calgary Stampeders hosting the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The 6-1 Saskatchewan Roughriders, who are the Grey Cup outright favourites with around +275 odds, will enjoy a bye week.

Three CFL Week 10 anytime TD bets to play

  • James Butler anytime TD: +110 (Sports Interaction). Butler ran for 115 yards and two touchdowns against his former team in Week 8, and now he’s had a bye week to rest up in an attempt to run all over the Tiger-Cats again, this time in Hamilton. BC is averaging a hearty 106.4 rushing yards per game this season, while Hamilton’s defence is allowing 100.8 yards on the ground to the opposition, which ranks just sixth in the league. We’ll back Butler to find paydirt against his former team again in Week 10.
  • Damonte Coxie anytime TD: -120 (Sports Interaction). The Argonauts receiver is leading the CFL in receiving yards (774) and is second in receiving touchdowns with six. Additionally, he’s scored five touchdowns in his last four games, as he continues to develop chemistry with quarterback Nick Arbuckle. Ottawa’s defence has been prone to big plays this season, allowing 17 completions of 30 yards or greater.
  • Justin Rankin anytime TD: +140 (Sports Interaction). Rankin is quickly turning into the most elusive running back in the league. He has forced 19 missed tackles on only 56 carries, registering six missed tackles against Hamilton last week on just 12 carries, according to Pro Football Focus. The Elks running back averaged 5.8 yards per carry in Week 9 and found the end zone twice. He’ll have some serious momentum heading into this week’s clash with Montreal and has good value at +140 to find paydirt.
