Which CFL quarterback will throw for the most passing yardage this season? Who will be the running back that rambles for the most yards on the ground during the 2021 campaign? What about receiving yardage? Which receiver is primed to get on the end of the most passes and lead the way in receiving yardage? These CFL 2021 season props offer bettors the chance to gain a significant windfall from a small investment.
CFL 2021 Season Props
- Cody Fajardo of the Saskatchewan Roughriders is favoured to lead the CFL in passing during the 2021 season
- Winnipeg Blue Bombers running back Andrew Harris is favoured to repeat as CFL rushing champion
- In another CFL season prop, Brandon Banks of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats is the betting choice to lead the league in receiving yardage
Following a season lost to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CFL is back on the field in 2021. And that means there’s plenty of CFL season prop bets to be considered. Who will lead the league in passing? In rushing yards gained? And in receiving yards accumulated?
These types of wagers can prove to be very lucrative to the patient CFL bettor. Season prop wagers offer longer odds than a standard moneyline wager on a game. For a relatively small risk, players can enjoy a high rate of return, as long as they are willing to wait until the end of the regular season to get paid.

A year without football brought about plenty of change in the makeup of CFL rosters, but in the case of each of these three wagers, the favourite to win all three CFL season props is still with the club they played for during the 2019 campaign.
Fajardo Favored To Pass The Test
Cody Fajardo was one of the feel-good stories of theΒ 2019 CFL season. Coming off the bench in the first game of the season, heΒ quarterbacked the Roughriders to their best season since 1970. Not only is Fajardo the 3.00 betting choice to lead the league in passing in theΒ CFL season prop odds, Fajardo is also the chalk in theΒ CFL Most Outstanding PlayerΒ picks.Β
Three games into the 2021 season, Fajardo is second in the league in passing yardage. He’s thrown for 773 yards. He’s delivering passes at a league-best 111.4 efficiency rating.
The current front runner is Andrew Harris of the Edmonton Elks. He’s thrown for 862 yards but he’s also been picked off four times. Harris can be had for odds of 7.15.
Value is offered by Vernon Adams of the Montreal Alouettes (6.25). In just two games, he’s averaging more than 236 yards per game through the air.
Longshot Wilder Off To Fast Start
The favourite to lead the CFL in rushing in 2021 also did so in 2019. That would be Andrew Harris of the reigning Grey Cup champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers. However, Harris began the season on the injured list and still hasn’t carried the ball yet in 2021.
Meanwhile, James Wilder Jr. of the Edmonton Elks is lugging the rock with a passion. He’s carried the ball more than any other back (52 times) and shows a CFL-leading 301 yards on the ground. No other back has yet to get to 200 yards. And Wilder is available at odds of 15.00.
However, keep an eye on Montreal’s William Stanback. In just two games, he’s second in the CFL with 194 rushing yards. That’s an average of 5.9 yards per carry, slightly ahead of Wilder (5.8).
Receiving Race Is Wide Open
Favoured Brandon Banks of Hamilton, the 2019 receiving yardage champ, finds himself way down the list. He’s currently 23rd in the CFL in reception yardage.
Bryan Burnham of the B.C. Lions, the third betting choice at 4.70, is running second in the league with 245 yards in receptions. The leader is his B.C. teammate Lucky Whitehead (275 yards) who isn’t even on the odds board to league the CFL in receiving yardage.
