Best Bet to Win the UFC Lightweight Championship
In what should be a great title fight – we are giving a slight nod to Dustin Poirier over Charles Oliveira. Poirier’s skills in the Octagon are better in most areas – even if only by slim margins – than Charles Oliveira. Poirier holds the edge in cardio, landing strike rate, and defence.
Oliveira has shown better striking during his recent winning streak and does have an advantage in reach. While that will help in the fight – it is not enough for us to say he will win it.
Another reason we are backing Poirier is how he will defend Oliveira’s grappling abilities. As Poirier is the better striker, Oliveira will need to push himself early in the fight. He will try to take the fight to the ground – but against Poirier that will be challenging.
As the fight prolongs, Oliveira will force too much – which will either cost him in scoring (if the fight goes five rounds) or open up opportunities for Poirier to land strikes and potentially TKO the champ.

Bet on Nunes to Defend the Championship
Amanda Nunes is an unstoppable force in the UFC. Nunes ranks number one in the UFC women’s pound-for-pound rankings and holds the Featherweight Championship along with the Women’s Bantamweight Title.
What makes Nunes such a great fighter is her ability to match her opponent and win by any means necessary. During her 12-fight winning streak, she has three wins by submission, four wins by decision, and five wins by KO/TKO.
While Julianna Pena is a talented fighter, she is over her head against Nunes. Pena is only 2-2 dating back to 2017. One of the losses came against second-ranked bantamweight Germaine de Randamie – a fighter Nunes has beaten twice in his career.
While everyone eventually loses in the UFC (although Nunes does hold the record for combined UFC title reign at 2985 days, so maybe she won’t) – this night is not the night. We know who Pena is –a fine fighter who is overmatched by Nunes. Bet on Nunes to win. We also suggest you parlay it with another fight at UFC 269 to get some extra juice on your wager.
Leon Edwards vs. Jorge Masvidal Betting Preview

Jorge Masvidal Stats and Details

- KO/TKOs: 19 wins
- Height: 5’ 11”

- Last Fight: Loss by KO against Kamaru Usman (UFC 261)
Leon Edwards Goes for Convincing Win to Setup Title Fight
As Leon Edwards is the third-ranked UFC Welterweight, a lot is riding on him beating Jorge Masvidal. Masvidal had two shots at current champ Usman – losing both. Assuming Usman defends at UFC 268 – a win by Edwards sets the two up for the next Welterweight Championship fight.
We like Edwards against the veteran Masvidal at UFC 269. Edwards is a very well-rounded fighter. He is a superb kickboxer, who can use his punches when his opponents anticipate kicks. He also has great skills as a wrestler and can control opponents on the ground with his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Masvidal is a veteran of the Octagon – and will use every he can to limit Edwards’ effectiveness. However, Edwards will counter with elbows to force Masvidal out of his strategy – which is when Edwards will strike and win.
