The Ottawa Senators believed they had possibly turned the corner with a few wins, but last night's 8-2 blowout loss to Chicago was a beatdown of epic proportions. It's a quick turnaround for Ottawa tonight as they are in Toronto to face the Leafs. Can the Sens get back on a track in a hurry and write-off that 8-2 defeat as nothing but an anomaly?
The NHL three stars of the week at the beginning of the year features yet another Bruins player on top, as Boston continues to be the hottest team in the eastern conference. Canadian three stars include significant contributions from right wingers Blake Wheeler and Mark Stone, who lifted the Jets and the Senators to a strong start in 2018.
