Bet On Houston Dynamo Games

Houston really hit the ground running when they entered the MLS in 2006, incredibly winning the MLS Cup in their first two seasons. The club followed up this remarkable start with a Supporters’ Shield in 2008 and were unlucky not to obtain further silverware in the 2011 and 2012 seasons where they were runners up in the MLS Cup on both occasions to LA Galaxy. Their US Open Cup record is nowhere near as good – the club has not reached a final in their short history.

More recently the Dynamo have struggled – a reasonably likely scenario given that they could only decline after such an amazing start. They missed the playoffs in three consecutive seasons from 2014 and are currently low down on the list of potential candidates for MLS Cup success in the coming seasons. In spite of this, there is a feeling around Houston that the glory days could well be returning sooner rather than later, and as a punter it may be something worth exploring.

The key matchup for the Dynamo is their Texas derby against FC Dallas. Games between these two clubs are very difficult to predict and the overall record of the derby at the end of the 2016 season is a great example of how little there is between the sides. From their first 33 matches the Dynamo have won 13 and FC Dallas have won 12, with 8 drawn games. Both sides have scored exactly 49 goals in the fixture. For this reason, tread carefully when looking to bet on these matches unless you have a solid lead.

The great news is that there are always hundreds of different betting options available every matchday, so if you have done your analysis and chosen your sources wisely, you’re likely in for a winning weekend!
