The Blues are the oldest NHL team never to have won the Stanley Cup, which sucks. Particularly when you factor in how close they have come over the years. They have only missed the playoffs an incredible 5 times in the last 37 years. And those years all came between 2005 and 2011. More recently, they are back on track and have made the playoffs in 5 straight seasons, and now have a championship level team.
As a franchise, despite the lack of Cups, they have won 9 division titles, and won the Presidents’ Trophy once back in 1999-2000.
They have seen a number of legendary players skate across their ice. This includes, Bernie Federko, Grant Fuhr, Doug Gilmour, Wayne Gretzky, Glenn Hall, Doug Harvey, Dale Hawerchuk, Phil Housley, Brett Hull, Guy Lapointe, Al MacInnis, Dickie Moore, Joe Mullen, Adam Oates, Jacques Plante, Chris Pronger, Brendan Shanahan,Peter Stastny and Scott Stevens.

Bet On St Louis Blues Games
As we stated above, you can pretty much bet on the Blues making the playoffs just about every year, which means they’ll have a good to amazing regular season. They’re 25 straight playoff appearances is third all time behind the Boston Bruins’ 29 seasons (1967–68 through to 1995–96) and the Chicago Black Hawks’ 28 seasons (1969–70 through to 1996–97). In the NBA, the Spurs are riding a 19 year streak, while the Packers and the Patriots each share the NFL record with 7. And the Atlanta Braves have baseball’s longest streak at 14.
The team is now led by Vladimir Tarasenko, who has emerged as a superstar. Meanwhile, the defense offers up Alex Pietrangelo, Jay Bouwmeester and Kevin Shattenkirk and is among the best in the Western Conference.
The team is built to succeed in the playoffs, with all the right pieces seemingly in place for the next few years. Emphasis on few years. This team has an expiry date, with aging players and contracts. The pressure is on to finally bring home the Cup, this year or next.
