NFL AFC East Betting Lines

The NFL’s AFC East Division has been home to eighteen Super Bowl teams and seven Super Bowl Winners. Those results are split between the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and New York Jets. We don’t have to tell you that the recent damage has been done by the New England Patriots, who have won 18 division titles. Since 2001, when Tom Brady was paired with Bill Belichick, the Patriots have won twelve AFC East titles in 14 seasons. [+]

The winner of the AFC East often goes on to win the AFC and play in the Super Bowl. Mind you, most of that time it’s the Patriots. No other team is the year-after-year favorite in this or any other division in the NFL. At the other end of the spectrum, the Bills currently own the longest playoff drought in all of pro sports.

Bet On NFL AFC East Games

Who is favored to win the NFL AFC East? Always start with the Pats. You can bet on them having a strong regular season, even if they get off to a slow start, and people declare the end of the dynasty. So-called experts have written them off after a few bad starts, and had to eat their words.

As for the Jets, They need their aging team to stay as healthy as possible. Ryan Fitzpatrick’s ability to play to his receiver’s strengths is what has driven their success so far, and his continued ability to do so will dictate whether they win, or fizzle away.

You probably know about the Bills’ struggles. This team has the longest active playoff drought in any major professional sport. They won 4 Conference championships back in the 90s. They have sadly not made the playoffs since 1999. They also hold the dubious honor of being the only team that has not appeared in the NFL playoffs so far in the 21st century.

Meanwhile, The Miami Dolphins have also been missing from the playoffs lately and haven’t been in the postseason since 2009, and have not won a Super Bowl since 1973. On the good news front, many experts are pointing to their 2016 draft class as their best ever. The Laremy Tunsil pick in the first round could turn out to be the steal of the draft, according to experts.
