Dallas Mavericks’ Odds

The next game for the Dallas Mavericks is here, along with their opponent and Dallas Maverick betting odds. The game result is updated so bookmark this page and keep track of this widget.

The team matches will be displayed here once available

The Dallas Mavericks were founded in 1980 as an expansion team but it wasn’t until the new millennium when the team rose to prominence. From 2001 to 2013, the Mavericks held pro sports’ longest active sellout streak at over 477 consecutive games. The franchise’s resurgence is mostly due to new team owner, Mark Cuban and Dirk Nowitzki, the greatest European player to grace the hardwood. The team has won an NBA title and have been playoff staples but may soon enter a rebuilding stage. They still remain a decent bet on NBA playoffs.

Dallas Mavericks’ Standings

Here are the updated NBA standings for the Dallas Mavericks and all NBA teams. In addition to wins and losses, points for (+), and points against are also listed.

Bet On Dallas Mavericks’ Games

You can share a piece of the Mavericks’ action by betting on them on the money line. This is the place to bet on a team straight. The NBA odds listed for each time are either a minus line (favourite) or plus line (underdog). Minus lines indicate what you need to wager to win $100 and plus lines indicate how much you win when betting $100. For instance, -200 means you need to bet $200 to win $100 but +150 means you win $150 when you bet $100.

If you are looking in the futures section, you will find Dallas Maverick Championship odds. These will change from year to year, and throughout the year. These are not at all frozen in time. But if you are less interested in their NBA Championship odd, you can check out the prop bet section. There you will find the Dallas Mavericks’ odds to make the playoffs.

New millennium stars: for the most part of their first twenty years, the Mavericks struggled. They had a brief period of success in the mid-eighties but for the most part, have been a lottery team. Enter Mark Cuban in 2000 and after acquiring European superstar, Dirk Nowitzki, the team never looked back and made the playoffs in all but one season as they won two division titles and an NBA championship. They also won the division title in 2021.

Texas triumvirate: the Mavericks have a rivalry with their Texan counterparts, the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets. Since 2000, the Spurs and Mavs have met in the playoffs six times with the Spurs getting the better of the Mavs, four times. As for the Rockets, they’ve faced the Mavs twice in the playoffs and both have won one series apiece. Since the Southwest Division’s inception in 2004, only Texan teams have won the division with the exception of the 2007-2008 New Orleans Hornets.

Mavericks’ spread: betting on the Mavs to win straight up can be tough hence playing the point spread is essential. This evens out the odds between favourite and underdog by allotting points for either team to “cover”. A favourite will have a minus number like -8.5 indicating they need to win by more than eight points while an underdog will have a plus number like +3.5 meaning the team can’t lose by more than three points.
