Chelsea To Take at Least One Point From Anfield
Liverpool played in the Champions League Tuesday and were back home from Spain, when Chelsea was 4000 kilometres away in Azerbaijan playing on Wednesday.
So with 1 less day to rest and gameplan Liverpool should easily beat Chelsea at home this weekend right? I'm not convinced. With the dominance of Manchester City being the main attraction in the Premier League so far this season, it's easy to forget that Chelsea are defending Champions.
No team, being manager and collection of players, has more winning pedigree than Antonio Conte and his squad. They've had to tread through some turbulent waters thus far this season, and are now the most fit and in form they have been at any point.
They are not an easy out. The Hazard-Morata attacking combo has shown some glimpses of just how good they can be. The Kante-Bakayoko midfield can be just as elite as any in Europe.
Will Liverpool have most of the ball, probably. Will Chelsea be a little ragged, likely. Will the Liverpool press and attacking talent have Chelsea on the ropes for periods, undoubtedly.
But this all boils down to winning mentality and the heart of Champions.
Where we've seen Liverpool capitulate and make defensive blunders to blow games they should have won under Jurgen Klopp (like Tuesday in Seville), we have seen Chelsea dig in and get the results under Jose Mourinho and Conte over the 2 of the past 3 seasons. This Saturday November 25th at 12:30pm EST will be no different. Chelsea take at least a point from Anfield.Chelsea or Draw (-154) Play Now
Schalke Valuable Underdogs Against Dortmund
I fully intend to fade Dortmund during this crisis. One would think that if any fixture could fix this team it would be their rivals Schalke coming to town. But that's precisely why I am going against them this weekend. Because Schalke are playing very well and want nothing more than to step on the neck of Dortmund, turning their crisis into an outright catastrophe.
Dortmund have not won a game against a 1st division team in nearly two months. To think that on Saturday they will suddenly flick a switch and handle the 2nd place team in Germany is highly dubious.Schalke +1 (+100) Play Now
Monaco vs PSG - Ligue 1
Sometimes this craft, sports betting, is about finding great lines in great spots.
PSG are arguably the best team on the planet at the moment and should be able to beat Monaco this Sunday, who have been decimated by player transfers, the same transfer market that has delivered the Parisians a pair of the hottest young talents in Europe this summer; Monaco phenom Kylian M'Bappe and Neymar.
You could easily lay the 7/4 on PSG moneyline. You could also take the over 3.5 goals (-110) and be happy with the "win or lose" because this showdown should see plenty of goals and PSG should score more of those goals than Monaco does. But there is one line that offers the best of both worlds at a price that is hard to pass.PSG to Win and Over 2.5 goals (-125) Play Now
