Premier League Picks Week 38

Premier League Picks Week 38

Soccer Predictions Today

Results / FixturesPremier League

The relegations spots have been decided, meaning that there is nothing to decide at the bottom of the table. But there are still some games of consequence:

Chelsea are Premier League Champions and will look to accomplish a couple of things when they host Sunderland at home this Sunday May 21st at 10am EST. Firstly they will be going for a record 30 wins in a Premier League season Eclipsing the impressive 29 wins that Jose Mourinho put up in each of his first 2 seasons as Chelsea manager in 2004-05 and 2005-06. Secondly with a clean sheet Tibault Courtois can lock up the Golden Glove award for the season. My guess is that he plays and Chelsea look to put a huge stamp on a fantastic season.

Chelsea to win and keep a clean sheet (-138) Bet365

Manchester City to travel Watford and need a win to finish 3rd and avoid a playoff for the Champions League next season OR dropping out of the top 4 altogether.

Liverpool host relegated Middlesboro and need a win to guarantee top 4 and salvage anything from this season like their northwest rivals.

Both teams can not afford to screw this up and though there is little value, a parlay may be a way to squeeze out some extra money from the final weekend.

Soccer Predictions Roundup - May 21, 2017

On Sunday there are two more games we have identified as potentials for profit.

Juventus vs Crotone (Serie A)

My Team's Next MatchJuventus

This is the 2nd last weekend of the Serie A season and Juventus can clinch the Scudetto this Sunday at home, which they will want to do because they have the Champions League Final in two weeks and will want to have all their focus put there. Facing a Crotone side who are fighting to stay in the first division would be tricky for anyone but this Juventus side who are incredible at winning at home. And with the Old Lady having only conceded 9 goals in 18 home games, and their minnow opponents having only scored 13 in 18 away games we can go for value here.

Pick: Juventus to win and keep a clean sheet (-138) on William Hill

Atletico Madrid vs Bilbao (LaLiga)

My Team's Next MatchAtletico Madrid

The Romantic side of me will be looking for vindication this Sunday when Atleti play their final game ever at the Vicente Calderon. This is a special club with special fans who have tragically come up short in some huge situations over the past few seasons. But they are what they are; defensive specialists who look to physically manhandle their adversaries. And if they want to close out their stadium in style, which one would believe to be the case, you can:
