Champions League Picks: Arsenal vs PSG Odds, Prediction and Live Score
Arsene Wenger's men by all accounts, played a poor match Saturday at Old Trafford. But they created one good chance, and stole a point at the death.
Results like that can have differing effects on a team, but for a group of players and a manager who have been put to the sword by Jose Mourinho teams for most of their careers, one would think it would be a positive jolt to their system. Now they welcome PSG to Emirates; A banged up PSG who will be without Angel Di Maria and Javier Pastore, 2 Argentinian weapons. Advantage Gunners on the way to the Champions League next stage.

Way back on Matchday 1, PSG failed to take control of this group and they will rue that day. PSG dominated the London side who were bailed out by the goalkeeping brilliance of David Ospina and the untimely misses of Edison Cavani. Alexis then scored a late goal to steal a point away from home in a game where they were clearly the second best team. Sound familiar. Now they get a weary PSG side who always can play anyone off the park on their day, but have been sputtering all year. Without arguably their best player, holding down Arsenal will be too tall a task.
The Round of 16 Jinx
Arsenal's inability to finish first in their group has resulted in them running into huge opponents and being knocked out. The Barcelonas the Bayerns and even the Monacos have all ended the Gunner's Champions Leagues run prematurely. The last time Arsene Wenger made the 2nd knock out round was 2009/10. This would be an appropriate time to exercise some demons.
