The Fine Print - Our Match Previews
Inter Milan vs Torino
Inter have started off the season in superb fashion, picking up wins in all five matches at the San Siro this season including a 3-2 victory in the Derby della Madonnina against rivals AC Milan. They currently sit second on the Serie A table through 11 matches and are yet to be defeated. They are almost certain to continue their perfect record against Torino, who have conceded twelve goals in their six away matches this season.
Mauro Icardi is in sizzling form for the Nerazzurri this season, already notching up eleven goals, and his link up play with Ivan Perisic has been lethal. Icardi goes into this game at odds of -250 to score at any time, while Perisic (who has scored four and assisted five already in this campaign) presents a viable alternative at +160. The hosts will be far too strong for Torino in front of a big home crowd, and their odds of -200 are an absolute steal.
Chievo vs Napoli
Napoli have started their 2017/18 season in incredible form, dropping just two points from their opening eleven fixtures, and they could be the first Serie A side in history to pick up 34 points from a possible 36 if they can manage a win in Verona on Sunday. The team have scored an incredible 32 goals already this season, with 17 of these coming on the road, and the form of Dries Mertens (10 goals in Serie A) will be a scary proposition for the Chievo defenders.
Mind you, Mertens has not scored against Chievo in six prior attempts. Surely he is due - Bet365.com are offering -188 for him to score at any time in this match. Verona are also a good bet to find the back of the net, having done so in eight of their last nine meetings at home against Napoli. You can get -134 in the 'Both Teams To Score market, which is a decent pick here.
Napoli have been too hot so far this season, and won't have lost any momentum despite their midweek loss to Manchester City, who are proving to be one of the best teams in Europe. Odds of -250 make them a good pick in your Sunday parlay.
Fiorentina vs Roma
5th-placed Roma will travel to Fiorentina with plenty of confidence - they are coming off a huge 3-0 win over Chelsea in their Tuesday night Champions League clash which has all but assured their progress into the knockout stage. They also boast the best defensive record in Serie A this season, conceding just five goals in ten matches, and amazingly have not conceded an away goal in 360 mins of road football this season.
Fiorentina have been decent so far and have lost just once at home, although their last outing was a 2-1 defeat at the hands of lowly Crotone. They have lost eight of their last ten Serie A matches against Roma, although their last meeting in Florence resulted in victory for the Viola. Roma have recorded four 1-0 victories in the league this season and a low-scoring affair is likely here as neither side have been emphatic in front of goal.
Roma are surprisingly good value at +130 and are a great pick.
Lazio vs Udinese
Lazio are another team that have started the season in hot form, losing just one match (to first-placed Napoli) in their opening eleven matches. They are currently on a six-game winning streak in Serie A and have also won all four of their Europa League group matches. Lazio also boast the top goalscorer in the league so far this season; Ciro Immobile has scored an incredible fourteen goals in eleven appearances, and 28 in 29 Serie A matches in 2017.
Udinese have lost four of their five away matches this season and this one looks to be another that will be too tough for the team from the north-east. They have not managed a goal against Lazio in their last five matches against them and you can obtain odds of +120 for the home side to win to nil in this one. Our recommendation is to add this to your parlay at -350, or try the Result/Both Teams To Score Market (see below for more information).
Sassuolo vs AC Milan
AC Milan have not quite gelled as a team yet, but it's only a matter of time before their influx of new players starts to pay dividends. This weekend presents a great opportunity - Sassuolo have only taken two points at home so far this season, while Milan finally found some goal scoring form in the last two weeks with six goals in their matches against Inter and Chievo, after being held scoreless in the four matches prior to that.
Odds of +105 are indicative of a team that does not have a great record at the MAPEI Stadium - Sassuolo have won three of the last four matches between the sides there. We believe that AC Milan will break the drought, with Suso to score the decisive goal.
Result/Both Teams To Score Market
Don't forget that you can add more weight to your potential outlay by selecting the Result/Both Teams To Score market, which is also valid to use under the Bet365.com bonus promotion. For this line, you are selecting both the outcome of the match AND whether you believe both teams will score in the match.
At -1600, Italian champions Juventus are far too short to consider for a solo bet against struggling Benevento, and aren't even effective for a parlay wager.
However, the odds dramatically increase when you look at this market. Juventus are -225 to win and keep their opponents scoreless, while they are +200 to win while allowing Benevento a consolation goal. If they win to nil as expected, -225 is a much better result!
