The Fine Print - Our Match Previews
Dortmund vs Bayern
Borussia Dortmund have had a terrible run in the UEFA Champions League to date, and are almost surely going to be eliminated from the competition in the group stage.
Originally fancied to progress from a tough group along with Champions Real Madrid and ahead of Tottenham, the German side fell to both before two inexplicable draws against Cypriot side APOEL FC sees them well out of contention.
It doesn't get easier for Dortmund before the international break - they face a Bayern Munich that despite recently sacking manager Carlo Ancelotti are looking as strong as ever.
Munich were tested by Celtic midweek, scraping a 2-1 victory that should assure their own Champions League progression, however will be much more focussed in the latest instalment of the Der Klassiker. We like Bayern here, with Dortmund with more work ahead to catch their rivals.
Leipzig vs Hannover
RB Leipzig are another German team finding it tough in the Champions League this season, although are by no means out of it just yet; their 3-1 midweek away loss to FC Porto could prove crucial, but perhaps not fatal. Domestically, they have looked good so far; they have won four out of their last five, losing last week to Bayern Munich and managing to inflict further pain on Dortmund by winning on their home turf.
Hannover are also in good shape, coming off two straight wins including scoring four goals against Dortmund, and are exceeding expectations so far in 2017. With that in mind, they will prove a test for Leipzig, but ultimately fall short against a team with more strikepower. Leipzig for the win here.
Valencia vs Leganes
Valencia have started this season in incredible form. After ten matches they remain undefeated, sit second on the La Liga table, and have managed to pick up draws against both Madrid clubs.
They go into this fixture against Leganes as (-200) favourites, which is a steal considering Leipzig are offering the same price and are nowhere near as hot right now.
This is a must-add to any parlay bet - you can thank us later.
La Coruna vs Atletico
It's not just the German sides struggling in the Champions League this season.
Atletico Madrid have slipped to third in their group behind Chelsea and Roma, and twice failed to beat Azerbaijani champions FK Qarabag, leaving their chances of progression hanging by a thread. They are unbeaten in La Liga thus far, but five draws from ten matches is not going to be enough to challenge Barcelona for the title.
It is surprising to see them as firm favourites in this one, although they are coming up against a side in Deportivo who have not beaten them in their last eleven attempts and are currently 16th in the league. Atletico are sure to turn their form around soon, and will start by winning this match on the road. -125 makes this a great addition to the parlay.
Barcelona vs Sevilla
Barcelona have started their campaign in typical Barcelona fashion - winning nine of their ten matches so far in La Liga and have conceded just four goals in the league and UEFA Champions League combined. Lionel Messi has already scored twelve in the league alone, and his form is so prolific (even by his standards) that you will only get -350 for him scoring at anytime in the match.
They host a Sevilla team who are in reasonable form, and will come into the match after beating Spartak Moscow midweek. However, they have not won any of their last 14 games at Camp Nou (with only two draws), so they will have their work cut out here. Barcelona will easily win this one, and the addition of this sure thing to your parlay will enable you to gain a higher bonus in the Bet365 promotion mentioned above.
Result/Both Teams To Score Market
Don't forget that you can add more weight to your potential outlay by selecting the Result/Both Teams To Score market, which is also valid to use under the Bet365 bonus promotion.
For this line, you are selecting both the outcome of the match AND whether you believe both teams will score in the match. Take the Barcelona match as an example. At -600, the team from Camp Nou are far too short to consider for a solo bet, and are borderline effective for a parlay wager.
However, the odds dramatically increase when you look at this market. Barcelona are +120 to win and keep Sevilla scoreless, while they are +130 to win despite allowing Sevilla to score. In a match where the result is almost assured, you are getting a better than 2/1 outcome on a 2/1 bet.
