Will Habs Extinguish The Flames In Montreal?

Montreal has been impressive since Carey Price returned, with coach Claude Julien organizing his troops into a winning trend. They’ll need to keep playing at a high level to catchup with the Maple Leafs and Lightning at the top of the eastern conference.

The Winnipeg Jets look like one of the most fearsome teams in the west after their powerful offense has been complimented by a vastly improved defense. Winnipeg should be able to beat a struggling Panthers squad which will be without the services of goalie Roberta Luongo.

NHL Lines: Lighting The Lamp

Flames at Canadiens - Bet Montreal SU (-190)

The Flames are in the middle of a three-game losing streak, and have won only four of their last ten games overall. Montreal has surged to overcome a difficult start to the season, winning five in a row before dropping a close match against the Blues during a close game against St. Louis. The Habs have lost six of their last ten against Calgary, but have the momentum as of late. Montreal should be able to squeeze a close win against the Flames, who appear to be fading in December.

Jets at Panthers – Bet Jets SU (-135)

Winnipeg has beaten Florida in six of their last ten games, including their last two meetings against each other. This season, the Jets have been one of the best teams in the western conference, while the Panthers look like they’ll miss the playoffs again. Florida has lost three in a row, and Winnipeg’s likely to extend this losing streak to four on Thursday night.

Flyers at Canucks – Bet Vancouver SU (-120)

After losing ten in a row, the Flyers have rebounded with two wins in a row, with their last victory a solid 4-2 win against the Oilers. However, they’ll be playing their second game in two nights against the Canucks, who have put together a three-game win streak against teams like the Leafs and the Hurricanes. Philly will be another tired east coast team attempting to win on short rest, and the Flyers have lost six of their last ten against the Canucks, giving Vancouver the edge in this match.

Senators at Kings – Bet Los Angeles Puckline (-1.5, +150)

The Kings are in the middle of a six-game winning streak, boosting their lead to four points over the Golden Knights in the Pacific Division. L.A. has won six of their last ten meetings with Ottawa, including the last two times they faced off against each other. The Senators have been unable to play well for the last month or so, including a shutout loss against Anaheim last night. The Kings should be able to beat the puckline against a tired and frustrated Ottawa squad.

Dirty Dangle Of The Night

Montreal Canadiens Beat Puckline Against Calgary Flames (-1.5, +155)

Montreal’s five game win streak included four games where they won by two or more goals. Most impressively, they outscored the Detroit Red Wings by a margin of 16-4 during a home-and-home miniseries. Since Montreal has been beating the tar out of weaker opponents lately, increasing the risk for a superior payout will be a solid option for NHL wagering fans tonight.
