NHL Futures: Week 7 Odds Update

Stanley Cup Championship Week 7 Contenders

Showing no signs of slowing down, Tampa Bay (14-2-2) is the last remaining team that has not lost two straight games yet this season. The Lightning won their three matches during the last segment, all on the West coast, as they defeated the Sharks, Kings and Ducks by a 14-4 count. Back in Florida now, the Bolts have break as they don't play until 16/11/17. St. Louis (13-4-1) dropped three points back but stay in second as the Blues went 2-1-0 in Week 6. Los Angeles, New Jersey and Toronto round out the top five NHL standings with 24 points each but they all had slight stumbles recently.

Tampa Bay, still +700 at BetWay, took a hit at Bodog as the Bolts NHL title price (+900 to +600) slipped considerably. St. Louis also fell, notably from +1400 at BetWay in Week 6, as the Blues are now +900 at our top NHL sportsbooks. Without Auston Matthews, Bodog raised Toronto's line (+750 to +900) but Bet365 went the other way as they lowered (+1100 to +900) the Maple Leafs odds. Bet365 have also jumped off the Vegas bandwagon inflating the Golden Knights line from +4000 to +5000. Week 7 match odds, and current Stanley Cup futures, are in the bubble below.

13/11/17 Eastern Conference Championship Odds Update

Slipping ever so slightly, Tampa Bay is clear chalk on the Canada Sports Betting Eastern Conference Championship odds table. The Lightning are priced from a low of +333 at Bodog to high of +350 at BetWay. Pittsburgh and Toronto continue to duel for the second and third favorite spots as the Leafs (+550) and Penguins (+650) best value is currently available at Bet365. Toronto has been impressive holding their own and posting a 3-0-0 record with Auston Matthews sidelined while the Penguins appear to be showing signs of wear and tear with a 9-7-3 record out of the starting gate.

Rising at some sites, falling at others, Columbus is consensus fourth chalk while Washington is fifth. Still not getting much East title love, though their odds are dropping, New Jersey sits second in the standings but eight teams have a line lower than the Devils (+1800) odds at Bodog. The same can be said for Ottawa (8-3-5) as the defending East Champs are fourth overall but still priced with a lofty +1400 money line at BetWay. New York is the hottest team in the league as the Rangers have won six straight, by a 26-16 margin, and the Blueshirts line has fallen to a low of +1300 at Bet365.

East Team To Watch: After a 1-5-2 start - the Rangers are 8-2-0 over their last ten games.

13/11/17 Western Conference Championship Odds Update

Western Conference leading St. Louis (13-4-1) separated from the pack slightly as Bet365 has the Blues with a low line of (+400) to win the West. St. Louis hasn't lost two straight in a month and they lead Los Angeles by three points in the standings. Second last to lose two in a row, the Kings dropped contests to Tampa Bay (5-2) and San Jose (2-1) to close out Week action. BetWay is still offering the best price (+600) on LA as they left their line unchanged since our last update. Just a tiebreaker out of a West Wild Card position Chicago has a third chalk price of +700 at BetWay.

A group of five teams all have a lowest line of +800 and sit tied as fourth favorites in the wide open West race. With their Blue Bombers punted from the playoffs, during CFL Semi-Final Sunday action, Winnipeg fans can devote full attention to the Jets (9-4-3) who are on a 5-1-1 roll. Mentioned last week, it's wise to keep an eye on San Jose as they put a rocky 4-5-0 start behind them with a 6-1-0 run over their last seven contests. Although on the outside of the postseason chase, Anaheim and Edmonton are priced from a low of +800 to a high of +1200 depending on where bettors shop.

West Team To Watch: In a close Pacific Division - Calgary is currently on a 4-1-0 winning run.

Sportsbooks Offering Free Membership in Canada

We have reached the Canadian Football League Division Finals and although the two matches are offered at government run and slanted sports lottery kiosks - why bother when you can wager on one of both at top rated CSB online sportsbooks. With Grey Cup Sunday now just days away, we remind Canadians from coast to coast that they can't wager on the CFL Championship game on its in two weeks time. In order to meet their unfair criteria - at least one other matchup needs to be added to tickets purchased at your local gas station. Check out our Top Five bookmaker list below.

While there, handicappers will notice that the betting boards are packed with a wealth of wagering action. That includes NFL and NCAA football which are running hot with playoff position battles. The NBA standings still look somewhat strange - especially with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers sitting ninth overall in the Eastern Conference. Online bookmakers offer fantastic hoops action everyday. We are still one week away from the MLS Cup postseason resuming as Toronto, Columbus, Seattle and Houston continue to prepare for the Conference Championship battles.
