Eastern Canadian Teams On A Roll Right Now

Eastern Canadian Teams On A Roll Right Now

Toronto Sweeps Home-And-Home Vs Boston

Two games in as many days and three games in four nights proved to be no problem for the Maple Leafs as they were able to win both games against Boston this weekend. Home-and-homes are always tough to sweep, but after a 3-2 comeback win on Friday night, Toronto was able to carry that momentum over to Saturday's contest and grab a 4-1 victory. That's now four wins in a row for this Toronto team as they get a well-deserved break with their next game not until Thursday and only two games on tap this week.

Ottawa Sweeps Colorado Over In Sweden

Going over and playing in the "Global Games" professional leagues now have in an effort to expand their sport is never easy, but the Ottawa Senators fared just fine. Ottawa grabbed a pair of 4-3 wins over Colorado this weekend in front of Swedish hockey fans and have now won three of four themselves. Like Toronto, Ottawa is off until Thursday this week and it will be interesting to see how they fare with all the travel coming back. Both games this week are at home though against Pittsburgh and Arizona.

Montreal Has Found Their Mojo Again

A 2-1 OT win over Buffalo on Saturday night makes it four wins in their last five games for Montreal. The winning ways don't stop there though as they enter their next game on Tuesday November 14th having won six of their last eight. Now is definitely the time to keep it rolling for the Habs as they are in the midst of a six-game homestand at the moment, and there is no better place to get on a roll then at home. The remaining three games on this homestand are all very winnable, although it concludes with a vist from Toronto.
