Premier League Predictions: Do Liverpool Own the Gunners?
Arsenal Liverpool Odds, Prediction
Liverpool have won 3 straight against their London comrades. They blasted them at Anfield 4-0 earlier this season and while this doesn't look like another blowout, it will come down to who can execute. Arsenal have not been coverting chances at a high rate in the month of December, most noted by a 3-1 loss to United a few weeks ago when the registered 33 shots attempts and 15 on target.
Though Arsenal have kept clean sheets in 4 of their least 5 games overall, let's be clear, neither of these teams can defend well for 90 minutes. Arsenal's path to keep the ball out of their net is to retain possession and negate their opponents opportunities to score which can work against smaller clubs who will sit back. Even when those smaller clubs have chances to counter attack, they still have to execute. So in this rare Friday fixture on December 22nd at 2:45pm EST, Arsenal will look to attack. The Reds, however, can utilize the space their host will give them better than anyone.
The path to getting results against Liverpool has been to sit deep and hold on for dear life as West Brom and Everton just did over the past couple of weeks. If you give Liverpool space they can rip you to shreds as the Gunners have witnessed first hand. It's worth noting that this has been a very high scoring of late. 8 of the last 9 meetings have gone over 2.5 goals with 7 of those 9 going over 3.5 goals.
Not sure I'm expecting a shootout tomorrow, but I think Liverpool are clearly the better side and it's worth noting that Arsenal along with Southampton have created the most defensive errors of any Premier League side this season, which is the type of thing Liverpool feast on.LIVERPOOL DRAW NO BET (+104) Sports Interaction
Toffees Getting Great Value at Home
After Manchester City, Everton are the in-form team the Premier League. Not sure who to blame for Everton's catastrophic start to the season. Whether Ronald Koeman was just out to lunch or his player's didn't show up for him, this talented side is starting to play for Big Sam.
Chelsea will be without Alvaro Morata after a late booking in a cup tie on Wednesday. And now Chelsea have to make another quick turn around and play a second match in less than 72 hours against a rested, home side who is playing their best football of the season.

How Will United Respond...
...At the King Power after losing in embarrassing fashion on Wednesday night to Bristol City. The League Cup was looking like their best shot at winning a trophy this season.
Jose Mourinho fielded a team worth nearly £350m...and lost. So will Manchester United loathe in their own apathy or respond with the heart of Champions?
For starters, this is a weird weekend slate in terms of scheduling. El Classico is being held at 7am EST on Saturday morning and for the first time, I believe ever, the Premier League has scheduled a Saturday game at 2:45pm EST.
An odd timeslot gives me a hunch of a wacky game and with Paul Pogba back and the full complement of attacking power for both sides, this could end up in a shootout with Lukaku, Mahrez and Vardy all trying to one-up each other. United eventually outgun the Foxes...MANCHESTER UNITED (-125) AND OVER 2.5 GOALS (-110) William Hill
