2017 NCAAF Regular Season Payouts

2017 NCAA Football Futures Betting Recap

Considering there are 130 schools in the USA College Football Bowl Subdivision, plus another 127 squads in the Football Championship Subdivision (2017) there is always an abundance of NCAAF futures betting opportunities at top rated online sportsbooks. Wagering options include National Championship odds, OVER/UNDER prices on individual team wins, plus lines on the Heisman Trophy winner, which is the equivalent of the Most Valuable Player Award in the National Football League.

Viewed by some as akin to gazing into a crystal ball, the Canada Sports Betting handicapping Crew views all futures betting options as an opportunity to fatten our bankroll. No matter the sport, by following a solid research path, bettors can cash in big time as generous prices are always attached to the odds. Our 2017 NCAA football futures bets are proof of that as we have already cashed two tickets and a huge payday awaits us if the Oklahoma Sooners win the National Championship.

NCAAF 2017 Regular Season Parlay, SU and ATS Results

Choosing a concise betting path, prior to the start of any sports season, is an important element of a proper wagering strategy. Beyond our futures wagers, we placed 1,000 units into a US College Football specific bankroll. Our betting plan consisted of 100 unit wagers on one two-team parlay bet at Bet365 with a 5% parlay bonus. Plus, 100 unit SU and 110 unit ATS bets on each match during the 13 regular season weeks and Power Five Conference Championship Weekend games.

Flying out of the gate, we posted a 15-0 record with our parlay, straight up and against the spread picks during the first five weeks. The hot start was especially satisfying as we laid some huge lines and/or wagered on key Top 25 contests. Our run of perfection ended in Week 6 as the Virginia Tech Hokies (-16.5) gave up a 23-3 lead and failed to cover during their 23-10 win over Boston College. We were however up 1,288.4 units on our parlay picks heading into the second half.

Following a 12-0 run, Week 7 delivered our first straight up loss as #8 Washington State lost 37-2 to the unranked California Bears at California Memorial Stadium. After pushing our straight up record to 21-1, we endured our second and final money line loss in Week 11 as #1 Georgia was crushed 40-17 by #10 Auburn on the road. Week 11 was also our first and only duel ATS loss week as #2 Alabama failed to cover vs Mississippi State resulting in our largest (-407.50) single week hit.

Closing out the regular season strong, we rolled to 5-0 SU, 3-1-1 ATS and 1-0 parlay marks during Conference Championship Weekend, which added 711.65 units to our bankroll. Our ATS loss (USC) and PUSH (Ohio State) were both by a mere half point. It all added up to a 2,794.76 unit profit on 52 wagers and our original bankroll was safe two weeks into the season. Bowl Season is up next and we'll predict each game, plus the two playoff matches and the National Championship clash.
