2016 NFC Futures Betting Lines
As we stand now, the Green Bay Packers are favorites to win the NFC Championship at Sports Interaction, although most other books are offering the Seattle Seahawks as favorites. The race is much more open than the AFC, and comes down to the aforementioned Packers and Seahawks, and also the Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, and Dallas Cowboys. We might see a few surprises from the Minnesota Vikings, who are said to be much improved, and the Los Angeles Rams, who have something to prove after the relocation.
2016 NFL NFC Outright Betting Lines
The Packers had a disappointing 10-6 season last year, and will look to improve upon that. QB Aaron Rodgers is still an elite quarterback and with the kinks ironed out this year, he can easily lead his team to the Super Bowl. Throwing 31 TDs and only 8 INTs, and taking into account how difficult some of those throws were and the problems from sluggish receivers, is incredible. RB Eddie Lacy was out of shape and had a lackluster year, but look for him to come back healthier and more mobile, giving the Pack a threat on the ground as well as the air. Combine this with having the easiest schedule (6 games against teams who had 6 or less wins last year), and the Green Bay Packers are looking like the best bet to win the NFC.
Bet Green Bay Packers +450 On Sports Interaction
As a secondary bet, we have the Seahawks, Panthers, Cardinals, and Cowboys as potential plays. The Seahawks and Cards will be slugging it out for that NFC West spot, but with Seattle's coaching and depth, they will most likely take it from the Birds. Both are pretty strong teams this year, but Seattle's young talent is just in the midst of maturing. The Panthers were flying high last year, but look for them to be hungover this year, after their Super Bowl appearance. Their dominance last year also gives them in inflated price to win the NFC, so it is best to stay away.
2016/17 NFL Schedule and Betting Lines
The Dallas Cowboys could be a good third play at +900. They underachieved last year, going an abysmal 4-12. This team could either be a major contender or just an average team. New running back Ezekiel Elliott is already in the news because of some non-sports related controversy, but when he starts to play, we'll really see if this is worth a shot. Tony Romo's health is also a major issue which needs to be waited out for a while. Give this one a week or two before jumping on it. In the meantime, take the Green Bay Packers at +450 and the Seattle Seahawks at +475 just to be sure.
