The Fine Print - Our Match Previews

Bundesliga - Bayer Leverkusen vs RB Leipzig (9:30am EST)

My Team's Next MatchBayer Leverkusen

Both teams come into this match in good form. Bayer Leverkusen has shot up the ladder in recent weeks after a run of six straight games without defeat, while RB Leipzig continue to occupy a Champions League position after picking up five wins from their last six games - the only loss coming at the hands of Bayern Munich, whom they trail by four points.

We are expecting to see plenty of goals in this match - Bayer have the third-best attack in the league with 23 goals, while Leipzig are not too far behind on 18. Kevin Volland has scored six of the home side's goals this season, including two in his last three outings - you can get +140 for him to score at any time during the match. Timo Werner is also in hot form for Leipzig having scored eight in the league this season - he is the favourite to score in this match (-110 to score anytime).

This is a tough match to pick - Bayer are undefeated at home so far this season, while Leipzig have split their six away matches evenly (3W,3L). Leverkusen are the favourites at +120, however we believe Leipzig will earn their first away draw of the season. You can get the draw at +260.

La Liga - Leganes vs Barcelona (10:15am EST)

My Team's Next MatchLeganes

Leganes aren't doing too bad in La Liga this term, sitting in eleventh position on the ladder just two wins outside of the top four. They have only conceded two goals in their first five home matches in 2017/18, and had only conceded three goals in nine matches prior to their last two games in which they allowed five. Sadly though, it's unlikely they will be able to hold out against a Barcelona team that won 5-1 at Butarque last season.

Barcelona have also been solid defensively - their four goals conceded in eleven games is their best ever defensive start to a La Liga season. They have also been their typical best in front of goal, already notching thirty goals in their undefeated start to the campaign. It would be tough to back against them making short work of a Leganes side that simply isn't in the same class. Add Barcelona to your parlay - they are at surprisingly generous odds for the win at -300.

Serie A - Roma vs Lazio (12:00pm EST)

My Team's Next MatchRoma

The Rome derby is definitely one of the highlights of the Serie A calendar, and it has a rich and long history with 146 meetings to date. Of those, Roma have won on 52, Lazio have won 37 and there have been 57 drawn games. Lazio won the last league meeting between the sides, however Roma have had the upper hand in the most recent meetings between the sides - they were undefeated against the Biancocelesti for eight matches (five wins) prior to the most recent defeat.

Roma are odds on to score a goal in this fixture - they have only failed to score once (against Napoli) in their last seventeen league fixtures. Meanwhile Lazio have won nine consecutive matches in all competitions, which is the longest winning streak in the club's history, and have picked up 28 points in their Serie A campaign to date which is their best ever performance after eleven matches.

So how do you pick a winner here? Neither side have drawn a match in their last ten meetings, and both are in incredible scoring form. The odds of both teams hitting the back of the net are extremely high, so why not try picking the 'Result/Both Teams To Score' market? We prefer the home side in this match, and you can get odds of +275 for Roma to win and both teams to score.

Serie A - Napoli vs Milan (2:45pm EST)

My Team's Next MatchNapoli

Top-of-the-table Napoli will welcome AC Milan to San Paolo and will be aiming to continue their dominant form in 2017/18 so far. The sides have faced each other 138 times in Serie A, with the Milan side winning 54 compared to Napoli's 40, although the Partenopei are undefeated in their last five matches against the Rossoneri.

Both teams have scored in seven of their last eight meetings, which again makes it tempting to look at the 'Both Teams To Score' market. The pair are also ranked amongst the top three Serie A sides in terms of possession, so it will be interesting to see which side dominates the ball in this fixture.

Milan are still struggling for consistency which is understandable as they are a club in transition. For this reason, we are going to go for the outright victory for Napoli (we're not confident of Milan scoring in this one). Go for Napoli at -225, and perhaps put a side bet on Dries Mertens to add to his tally of ten goals for the season (he is -188 to score at any time).

La Liga - Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid (2:45pm EST)

My Team's Next MatchAtletico Madrid

Saturday is full of big matches, although none are quite as huge as the Madrid derby, which will be the 161st time the two sides will meet in the league. Surprisingly it is Atletico who has had the upper hand in the most recent clashes between the sides - they have won four, drawn three and only lost once in their last eight fixtures in La Liga against the Galacticos.

The match will be the first derby at Madrid's newest stadium - Wanda Metropolitano - and Atletico are looking to equal their longest undefeated start to a campaign. The players to watch will be Antoine Griezmann and Cristiano Ronaldo - Griezmann will be looking to end a seven-match scoreless streak for the red and whites (his longest at the club), while Ronaldo is in a similarly bad drought (he has only scored one goal from 48 shots in La Liga this season).

With neither side looking to lose this one, and with the home side especially short on goal-scoring confidence, we could quite easily see a scoreless draw here. We're backing the draw at +240.

Result/Both Teams To Score Market

Don't forget that you can add more weight to your potential outlay by selecting the Result/Both Teams To Score market, which is also valid to use under the Bet365.com bonus promotion.

For this line, you are selecting both the outcome of the match AND whether you believe both teams will score in the match. We've already outlined the Roma vs Lazio match as a great opportunity to utilise this line, and Barcelona's match could also offer potential.

At -300, the Catalan giants don't offer too much to the above parlay; however, the odds dramatically increase when you look at this market. Barcelona are +110 to win and keep their opponents scoreless, while they are +200 to win while allowing Leganes a consolation goal.

Handicapping MLB Starting Pitchers For Baseball Betting
Major League Baseball revolves around pitching, more so when the playoffs roll around in October. Contenders with big bats and slick fielders will only go as far as their pitching staff allows. As such, handicapping starting pitchers reveals the odds that a team will win an individual ballgame. Baseball clubs with the best starting pitchers have a much greater chance of winning pennants and World Series rings.
