Astros vs Yankees MLB Playoff Predictions - ALCS Game 5
Home Field Is Real For The Yankees
After being down 0-2 in the series yet again, the Yankees dug deep and used their smashing newly awoken offense to bring the ALCS back to even at 2-2.
Whoever wins the next game will be one win away from appearing in the World Series. And with the way the Bronx Bombers have been playing at home this postseason, and all season long, they could have the advantage in this matchup.
We called Game 4 for the Yankees, as seen here, not only predicting that they tie up the series, but that Judge gets a timely hit, which he did. With our Dodgers winner in the NLCS, our record keeps getting better and now stands at 17-5.
Stick with us for the full postseason for more winners! This line came out late, and has the Astros as slight away favorites. With the way New York's been playing at home though, this line could move to even relatively soon if it hasn't already.
Dallas Keuchel dominates the Yankees, and he proved it last week in Houston. This is a whole new ball game though, no pun intended. Keuchel's road numbers aren't that special, and his road success against New York has to run out sooner or later.
He did get his team the win the last two times he's faced Tanaka in the postseason, but the Yankees' starter wasn't terrible. He just suffered from poor run support.
Tanaka is much better at Yankee Stadium also. He needs the run support, and he should be able to get it, as the Yankees' big bats have finally woken up.
They can't be silenced at home, that's for sure.
Not only that, but in the Bronx, the Yankees have won 18 of their last 21 games. There's no reason for them to be a dog in this situation, and because the price might seem suspicious, we'll take the Yankees on the RL just in case.

Astros vs Yankees ALCS Game 5
The Houston Astros will try to return to Houston with a 3-2 lead in the series, giving them two chances at home to dispatch of the Yankees. They'll have history on their side though, as the 'Stros have won both postseason games where their Keuchel faced off against Tanaka.
Other than the opener, which Houston won 2-1, the two pitchers battled in the 2015 ALWC at Yankee Stadium. Keuchel struck out seven in six innings in the 3-0 win.
Dallas Keuchel (2-0, 0.71 ERA) has been a force to be reckoned with, especially for the Yanks. In eight career starts against them, the lefty is 6-2 with a 1.09 ERA. In the postseason, the 2015 AL Cy Young winner is 4-0 with a 1.69 ERA in five appearances, four of which were starts.
His weakness seems to be the road though. In away games, Keuchel is only a mediocre 5-5 with a 4.24 ERA and allowing opponents a .720 OPS.
As for the Yankees, they are on a cloud after Tuesday night's win, rallying to win 6-4. It's the biggest postseason comeback home win for the team since the 2003 ALCS against the Red Sox.
Aaron Judge was the hero, and after returning back home, is hitting .500 with five RBIs. He hit the double in Game 4 which tied the game, after starting off with a solo home run.
Masahiro Tanaka (1-1, 1.38 ERA) lost his other postseason starts against Keuchel, but those were due to low run support, not anything against Tanaka's abilities. He comes into this one on four days' rest, but the 28-year-old went 5-3 with a 4.04 ERA in eight starts this season with that amount of rest.
Like the rest of his team, the Japan native seems to draw power from the Bronx. He ended the regular season going 5-1 with a 1.29 ERA in six starts.
Will he be able to get the run support he needs though?
