2018 CFL Playoffs

2018 CFL Playoffs

The CFL Playoffs begins with the usual suspect at the top of the power rankings. The Calgary Stampeders (-125) are still the favourites even if they looked disinterested in their last few games. The Saskatchewan Roughriders (+450) are a distant second tied with the Eastern champs, the Ottawa Redblacks (+450).

Below is a complete list of all the CFL playoff teams and their odds:

Saskatchewan Roughriders +450

The CFL Playoffs involves six teams in a single-elimination style bracket with the two conference champions getting first-round byes to the Conference Final.

The four non-conference winners face-off in the Conference Semi-Finals. The two best remaining teams from each conference face off. In the event there is an extra team from another conference, like the BC Lions this season, they must cross over to the other conference.

Calgary Stampeders To Win the Grey Cup Odds

In this season's playoffs, the BC Lions cross over to the Eastern Semi-Finals.

The two winners then advance to face the conference winners in the Conference Finals.

From here, the winners advance to the 2018 CFL Grey Cup to be played in Edmonton.

Betting Pick: the Stampeders are a class above the rest, but they are also notorious for choking in the playoffs. At these odds, the winner of the Roughriders-Bombers game could go all the way to upset Calgary and win the Grey Cup. Saskatchewan has Winnipeg's number and they are worth a gander to win the 2017 CFL Grey Cup.

CFL Playoffs Matchup Odds

Eastern Semi-Final

BC Lions at Hamilton Tiger-Cats: these two teams are the longshots to win the Grey Cup, but both are still dangerous. Hamilton finished with the third-best point differential (+57) despite only having a losing record. BC is the biggest underdog as they won't have any home games and are a terrible road team.

Western Semi-Final

Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Saskatchewan Roughriders: the sequel to the "Banjo Bowl" pits two polar opposites: the high-flying Bombers must find a way to beat the defensive-minded Roughriders in Saskatchewan. The winner of this match-up could go on to win the Grey Cup.
