EPL Week 10: Low & High Scoring Affairs in This Weekend's Action

Manchester United vs Tottenham
You may want to wake up a few minutes before 7:30am EST this Saturday October 28th, to check the starting lineups for United v. Spurs. Not only are Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford question marks, so is Harry Kane
And IF Manchester United don't have the pace of Marcus Rashford to concern the Spurs defense and IF Tottenham do not have their prolific talisman up top then one would definately consider the Under 2.5 goals are strong play.
But even if Rashford and Kane start the match, a low scoring affair may still be on the cards anyway. Mourinho, who just saw his side humiliated at Huddersfield last weekend, will likely respond by playing even more negative football with the aim of keeping a clean sheet.
United will essentially say, "Here you go Spurs, have 70% possession. We'll sit deep and you won't score". And it may work. Tottenham have not scored in their last 3 games at Old Trafford.
And if Lukaku is isolated up top while the rest of his teammates sit in their own half, it will be hard for the home side to create many good opportunities against a team that has allowed 0.5 goals per game away from home this season in the premier league.
Pick: UNDER 2.5 GOALS (-134) and TOTTENHAM +0.5 (-145) both available at BET365
West Brom vs Man City
Manchester City have defeated West Brom in 12 consecutive matches and in 14 of the last 15. West Brom have the lowest pass completion percentage in the top flight as well as the lowest average possession thus far this season.
So in a nutshell, Man City should have the ball for a highly unproportionate amount of this game.
Originally I felt that Pep's squad may be looking ahead to the midweek trip to Naples and not put their best foot forward at the Hawthorns, leaving the door open for a potential upset.
But after a midweek cup trip to Wolverhampton in which they were held nil-nil after 120 minutes, Pep was not pleased. With such a deep squad, no one's starting place is ever guaranteed.
So for whichever group get's the starting nods this weekend, their motivation will be apparent and their mission will be to dominate.
Pick: Manchester City -1.5 goals (-140) at BET365
Brighton vs Southampton + Burnley vs Newcastle
Scoring chances won't come easy this Sunday when Brighton & Hove Albion host Southampton, or Monday when Burnley welcome Newcastle to Turf Moor.
I believe that one if not both of these matches have a shot at ending nil-nil.
William Hill is offering +800 and +650 if you are willing to gamble on either to be a goalless draw. With those prices and these teams, it is a low risk, high reward opportunity.
