Premier League Predictions: Manchester City Manchester United Odds

Manchester City vs Manchester United

My Team's Next MatchManchester City

On Thursday April 27th at 3pm EST we get treated to the Manchester Derby. With United only 1 point behind City who are clinging to 4th place at the moment, both teams and managers will be looking to exercise some demons.

For the home side, Pep Guardiola is staring an ugly truth in the face; his season has been a failure. Pep will go trophyless for the first time in his career this season and there are no simple solutions to the problems facing his side.

Manchester United have already won a trophy this season and are favorites to win the Europa League as well which if accomplished, means Jose Mourinho will have won 2 trophies and given Manchester United Champions League football once again.

Still tomorrow he will look across the touchline at the man who has dominated him in his career. Pep owns a 9-5-4 heads up record over the Special One.

From a wagering perspective, it should be known that both teams want to win this game but only one team might be able to, depending on who can play. Injuries have hit both these teams hard. Pogba, Aguero, and Silva are all question marks coming into this game along with many others leading to the logical conclusion.

Premier League Picks Week 26

If everyone who can play does play (Pogba, Silva, Herrera and either Jesus or Aguero) then bet UNDER 2.5 GOALS +100 on BET365 as it will be a very tight, and intense affair

IF Manchester City can field their best team but United is without a couple key players, then MANCHESTER CITY -110 on BET365 is the play

At the moment it looks as if City will have more players fit than United will and fate will force the Red Devils to field a weakened side. If that ends up happening, Mourinho will try to stop City from playing and perhaps he can accomplish this.

But Pep has been the one manager who consistently has been able to overcome this tactic and get the goals that seem so elusive to everyone else who comes across this type of opposition game plan. I think this game is tight and physical as oppose to free flowing and open but until we see how the squads lineup there are just too many unknowns.

Stanley Cup 2019 Odds: Tavares & Toronto Favorites?
Toronto will remember July 1st, 2018 not as Canada Day, but Tavares Day, after the pride of Mississauga was liberated from the New York Islanders. This stunning coup solidifies the Leafs top-line talent for the next half-decade, creating a long window of opportunity for Toronto’s long-suffering franchise. The Maple Leafs odds to win the Stanley Cup in 2019 jumped to +700 after the announcement, better than the Lightning, Bruins and Golden Knights. Toronto’s finally positioned as favorites to win their first ring since 1967, despite questions surrounding their blueline and goaltending.
