Predators vs Penguins Stanley Cup Final Game 6 Odds And Prediction

Predators vs Penguins Stanley Cup Final Game 6 Odds And Prediction

Nashville vs Pittsburgh Stanley Cup Final Game 5 Review

Ouch! We took it on the chin with our Game 5 Stanley Cup prediction. Feeling Pekka Rinne was back in form, while Matt Murray appeared to be regressing, we bet on Nashville staying hot by posting a win in Pittsburgh. It was not to be however as the Penguins flexed their Championship muscles and this match was over early. Justin Schultz lit the lamp just 1:31 into the first period and then Bryan Rust (6:43) and Evgeni Malkin (19:49) made the count 3-0 at the end of twenty minutes.

My Team's Next MatchNashville Predators

Clearly not his night, Rinne retired early as backup Juuse Saros played the final forty minutes. Saros stopped all ten shots he faced in the second period but Conor Sheary, Phil Kessel and Ron Hainsey scored in the final frame to complete the 6-0 Penguins pummelling of the Preds. For the second time in this series, mirroring the third period during the Predators Game 3 victory, shenanigans broke out twice over the final twenty minutes as fighting majors and misconducts were plentiful.

Pittsburgh @ Nashville NHL Championship Game 6 Preview

As is tradition, since this is the first chance a team has to claim it, the Stanley Cup is in Music City tonight. Having won all four of their Stanley Cup Championships on enemy ice, Pittsburgh rolls into Music City with a “been there – done that” mantra. Mario Lemieux can spin yarns about the Pens first back-to-back NHL titles after they won Game 6 in Minnesota (1991) and then swept the Blackhawks in Chicago in 1992. Players like Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Chris Kunitz most certainly remember the magical feeling in Detroit (2009) and in San Jose just 364 days ago.

After taken down Chicago (4-0) St. Louis (4-2) and Anaheim (4-2) Nashville is facing their first ‘win or done” scenario during the 2017 NHL playoffs. The Predators do have a few things to hang their hats on as they are 9-1 at home in the postseason, goaltender Pekka Rinne is sporting a 1.44 GAA and a .949 SVPCT at Bridgestone Arena, and the Smashville faithful are a very tangible motivating force. Nashville has outscored their opponents by a 34-15 count in Music City contests and their lone loss was a close 3-2 (OT) decision to the Ducks in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.

Penguins vs Predators NHL Stanley Cup Finals Match 6 Prediction

Being in a “do or die” situation is never comfortable but Nashville proved they can hang with the Penguins during their 5-1 win in Game 3 and their 4-1 victory during Game 4 in Tennessee. On the other side of the coin, Pittsburgh will head into this contest full of confidence after their Game 5 drubbing of the Preds. Plus the Pens have the added insurance of knowing they will live to fight another night should they drop Game 6 tonight. Except for the Penguins 5-3 victory in Game 1, the winning goaltender has allowed one goal or less and the netminders will be a huge key again here.

Pittsburgh -1.0 (+245) Alternate Puck Line BET NOW

We were kind of surprised to find Nashville as consensus (-145) money line favorites, without even a nickel of variance, at the top five online sportsbooks that we recommend here at Canada Sports Betting. Nashville needs Pekka Rinne to shine bright in net and the Smashville fans getting into Matt Murray’s head would help the Predators force a Game 7 back in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. We have been on the Music City bandwagon since the West Final but we are jumping off tonight. Wager on Pittsburgh to capture the Stanley Cup with the SportsInteraction -1.0 (+245) alternate puck.

Bet on the NHL Stanley Cup Finals – Plus MLB and NBA Action – With Canada’s Best Online Sportsbooks

Hardball action is also prominent on betting boards as all thirty MLB teams hit the diamonds today. With the exception of the Detroit Tigers vs Boston Red Sox battle, all of the baseball matches will be complete before the Preds vs Pens puck drop. NBA Finals action is on hold for another night as Golden State and Cleveland are travelling prior to a series clinching Game 5 in Oakland on Monday.

While our Basketball Guru had solid argument for a Warriors sweep – yours truly could not see that happening as my personal bets backed King James and Crew on the Game 4 money line (+175) and ATS +5.5 (-115) at the BetWay Sportsbook. If the National Blowout Association does not dictate some shadiness – the Roundball Season will end with Stephen Curry & Co. cutting down the nets on Monday. The bookmakers below are the best in the business and they LOVE Canuck ‘Cappers!

Stanley Cup 2019 Odds: Tavares & Toronto Favorites?
Toronto will remember July 1st, 2018 not as Canada Day, but Tavares Day, after the pride of Mississauga was liberated from the New York Islanders. This stunning coup solidifies the Leafs top-line talent for the next half-decade, creating a long window of opportunity for Toronto’s long-suffering franchise. The Maple Leafs odds to win the Stanley Cup in 2019 jumped to +700 after the announcement, better than the Lightning, Bruins and Golden Knights. Toronto’s finally positioned as favorites to win their first ring since 1967, despite questions surrounding their blueline and goaltending.
