Predators vs Penguins Stanley Cup Final Game 3 Odds And Prediction

Predators vs Penguins Stanley Cup Final Game 3 Odds And Prediction

Predators at Penguins Stanley Cup Final Game 2 Review

Close through two periods, Pittsburgh ended up pummelling Nashville by a 4-1 Game 2 final score. The Predators flew out of the gate as they outshot the Penguins by an 18-12 margin during first period. A Pontus Arberg goal 12:57 into the frame gave the Preds a 1-0 lead but Jake Guentzel lit the lamp at 16:36 to tie the game after twenty minutes. The visitors dictated play in the middle frame, Nashville posted a 14-7 shot advantage, but the 1-1 count held up after forty minutes.

My Team's Next MatchNashville Predators

As they have many times, Pittsburgh seemed to hit a switch and they swarmed the Predators net to open the final period. This close contest turned on a dime as the Pens potted three goals on six shots before the clock hit the four-minute mark. Guentzel scored again, ten seconds into the third, before Scott Wilson and Evgeni Malkin piled on to make the score 4-1. Matt Murray was brilliant in the Pens net, stopping 37 of 38 shots, while Pekka Rinne has slumped at the worst possible time.

Stanley Final Game 3 Preview: Pittsburgh @ Nashville

Replacing Marc-Andre Fleury in goal for the Pens, during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final against Ottawa, Matt Murray has been a difference maker for Pittsburgh. The Thunder Bay Blocker has now turned aside 183 of the 194 shots he has faced and he is sporting a spectacular 1.54 GAA and a .943 save percentage. Murray has played in just ninety total NHL games but he is now two wins away from earning his second Stanley Cup title – Drop the mic and head to the beach Bro.

Carrying the squad during much of the NHL playoffs, the Predators defense has disappeared in the Cup Finals. At the other end of the rink, simply stated, Pekka Rinne has fallen into a funk. Nashville outshot Pittsburgh by a 64-39 margin during the first two matches but the previously unflappable Fin allowed four goals in both battles. Rinne isn’t solely to blame though as Nashville penalties cost them in Game 1 and another seven in Game 2 prevented the Preds from getting into a groove.

Predators vs Penguins Match 3 Predictions – Nashville 5-1 Final

While we obviously were not, we feel we have been on the right side during the first two matches of this series. Pittsburgh scored six goals during a 7:39 span of the 120 minutes played in the Steel City. One has to wonder if the Cup Final novice Predators are thinking, “we have hung in with the Champs” or “what do we have to do to beat these guys”. If Rinne continues to put up his .738 save percentage average – this series will be over without a needing a Game 5 match in Pittsburgh.

Nashville -1.5 (+200) Game 3 Puck Line WAGER NOW

Nashville showed they can beat Murray as they scored three straight during Game 1. That said, the young Penguins netminder appears to be brimming with confidence. The Preds shutout the Pens power play (0-7) in Game 2 but if they give Sidney Crosby & Crew another seven chances there is no way Nashville wins tonight. After being held pointless in Pittsburgh, Filip Forsberg regaining his scoring touch would help. The Predators are 7-1 in Smashville during the playoffs. We are laying the -1.5 (+200) puck line at SportsInteraction to back Nashville with a 100 units on the Game 3 fight.

Canadian Sports Bettors Have Access To These Top Ranked Online Bookmakers

Not giving way entirely, with all thirty teams hitting the diamonds, the bulk of today’s MLB action will be over prior to the Game 3 puck drop. However, if you are into cross-sport betting, top CBS recommended sportsbooks have a ton of odds on the five night games. That includes divisional rivalry matches as Boston @ Baltimore and Houston @ Texas tussles will play out under the lights. We like the Red Sox (-125) and Astros (-195) on a two team parlay bet in those baseball battles.

Bettors following the NBA playoffs are out of luck on hoops action for the eighth time over nine days as the Golden State vs Cleveland Game 2 contest doesn’t go until Sunday. This ballyhooed series followed the ongoing blowout trend of the 2017 NBA playoffs as the Warriors routed the Cavaliers 113-91 during Game 1 in Oakland. That contest was basically over after three periods as Stephen Curry & Crew went into the fourth quarter with a 99-72 advantage. Do not forget, there are also a ton of NFL preseason wagering options – that are rip for the picking, at these top ranked online bookmakers. Here’s to hoping that the NHL and NBA Championship Final series tighten up!

Stanley Cup 2019 Odds: Tavares & Toronto Favorites?
Toronto will remember July 1st, 2018 not as Canada Day, but Tavares Day, after the pride of Mississauga was liberated from the New York Islanders. This stunning coup solidifies the Leafs top-line talent for the next half-decade, creating a long window of opportunity for Toronto’s long-suffering franchise. The Maple Leafs odds to win the Stanley Cup in 2019 jumped to +700 after the announcement, better than the Lightning, Bruins and Golden Knights. Toronto’s finally positioned as favorites to win their first ring since 1967, despite questions surrounding their blueline and goaltending.
