NHL Playoff Predictions: Ducks vs Predators Game 4

NHL Playoff Predictions: Ducks vs Predators Game 4

NHL Western Conference Finals Game 3 Review

Returning home to delirious fans, and one of the NHL’s loudest rinks, Nashville saved their best for last during the inaugural West Final match in Music City. The final score suggests a close contest but the Predators owned the Ducks throughout this duel. If not for John Gibson, who ended up stopping 38 of 40 shots, Anaheim would have been done after one period. The Preds outshot the SoCal Crew 28-13 during the first two frames (17-9 and 11-4) but trailed 1-0 after forty minutes.

My Team's Next MatchAnaheim Ducks

Though not quite as heavy, the shot barrage (12-7) continued in the third period. Filip Forsberg tied the match at the 3:45 mark and then Roman Josi potted a power play goal at 17:17 to send the crowd home happy. Nashville lead the hit parade by a 32-24 count during game 3 and the Preds had a 40-20 shot advantage. Anaheim doesn’t appear to have another gear at this point and 32 year olds like Ryan Getzlaf and Ryan Kesler have logged a ton of ice time during the 2017 playoffs.

Nashville Predators vs Anaheim Ducks Game 4 Preview and Prediction

Proving some pundits and bookmakers wrong, Nashville is playing at an elite level during the Chase for Stanley. Following a sluggish 2-4-1 regular season finish, the Predators began the Quarterfinal Round tied for 12th with a (+2500) NHL Championship line. The Music City Crew has been on quite a run since then though as they are 10-3 and have outscored their opponents by a 36-22 margin. Confident of our Predators (-143) series wager – our Preds in Six Games call may be in jeopardy.

Anaheim dropping the first two games at home in the Semifinals vs Edmonton, and the series going a full seven games, appears to have worn down the Ducks. Fast and young, the Oilers proved to be quite a handful so Preds fans should add Connor McDavid & Crew to their Christmas card list. The Ducks flipped a switch a few times during their first two series but they are running low on energy. They have also lost the huge faceoff win advantage they had over both the Flames and Oilers.

145 Units Nashville (-145) Money Line Bet Bet365

Staying on a steady bankroll-building path, we cashed our Game 3 money line wager and moved our mark to 3-0 on this series. Thankfully, we didn’t know the Preds would pummel the Ducks with a 40-20 shot advantage as we would have been all over the puck line price. Following Anaheim, since we banked a small profit on their series versus Calgary, we knew the faceoff savvy, rough and tumble Preds would be a challenge for the SoCal Crew. While Gibson’s improved play is worth consideration, we are backing Nashville with a 145-unit wager on Bet365 (-145) money line price.

2017 NHL Futures Update: Odds To Win The Stanley Cup

Series wins over Boston and New York did little to push the needle on Ottawa’s NHL title odds as the Senators entered the East Conference Finals as pups against defending Champion Pittsburgh. However, following their 5-1 Game 3 pummelling of the Penguins, the Sens have moved into the second chalk slot with a (+250) money line. Feeling it would be bigger, the Steel City Crew saw their title odds jump from (+150) to (+275) after their meltdown in Canada’s Capital last night.

Delayed by the March of the Penguins, Nashville is now on top of the CSB Stanley Cup futures betting board. The Predators (+175) odds stayed intact after the Senators victory but they could be the first team to an EVEN line if they win Game 4 tonight. Anaheim did not see a price adjustment either as the Ducks (+500) ML Cup winning odds remain as the biggest number on the board. We have lost confidence in our Anaheim (+700) futures bet we placed during the semifinal round.

Top Ranked Canada Catering NHL Playoff Betting Online Sportsbooks

With our confidence in the Ducks rapidly declining – we will salvage what we can from the above mentioned bets. Since that wager was 50 units, on both New York and Anaheim, we have 100 units invested. Surfing around the top online sportsbooks recommended on the CSB Top Five list below, Bet365 has the best price on Nashville (+180) so we are backing that Stanley Cup line with a 200 units. Having a solid stable of bookmakers is always wise – especially when hedging wagers. Build your own stable by registering an account with any of these NHL puck betting specialists.

Stanley Cup 2019 Odds: Tavares & Toronto Favorites?
Toronto will remember July 1st, 2018 not as Canada Day, but Tavares Day, after the pride of Mississauga was liberated from the New York Islanders. This stunning coup solidifies the Leafs top-line talent for the next half-decade, creating a long window of opportunity for Toronto’s long-suffering franchise. The Maple Leafs odds to win the Stanley Cup in 2019 jumped to +700 after the announcement, better than the Lightning, Bruins and Golden Knights. Toronto’s finally positioned as favorites to win their first ring since 1967, despite questions surrounding their blueline and goaltending.
