NHL Picks & Pucklines Tonight

NHL Picks & Pucklines Tonight
The Battle of Alberta headlines a busy evening of hockey, as the Oilers attempt to ruin Calgary’s playoff hopes by stealing a couple of points. NHL picks and pucklines also include a massive match between the Winnipeg Jets and the Nashville Predators, as both teams slug it out for top spot in the Central Division. The Stars meeting the Canadiens will be one of the biggest mismatches of the night, with Dallas heavily favored to win.

Will Calgary Break Loss Streak Against Oilers?

Edmonton and Calgary have been Albertan rivals in every way possible, and hockey bragging rights remain the greatest prize between the two fossil fuel cities. Lately, the Oilers have been dominating the Flames, winning seven in a row over Calgary.

Despite Edmonton’s horrible regular season, they’ve beaten Calgary three times this year, depriving the Flames of enough points to make the difference between the playoffs and golf in April. Winning another game in the Battle of Alberta reduces their draft odds, but the pleasure of ruining the Flames post season will be well worth it.

NHL Straight Up Picks & Puckline Predictions

NHL Odds Courtesy Of Sports Interaction

  • Dallas at Montreal: Bet Stars Puckline (-1.5, +140)
  • Ottawa at Tampa Bay: Bet Lightning Puckline (-1.5, -120)
  • Winnipeg at Nashville: Bet Predators SU (-185)
  • Edmonton at Calgary: Bet Oilers SU (+150)

NHL Lines: Lighting The Lamp

Stars at Canadiens – Bet Dallas (-1.5, +140)

The Stars remain on top of a precarious playoff bubble, holding on to a two-point lead for the first wild card spot. Dallas will enjoy the opportunity to meet the Montreal Canadiens after a tough loss against the Penguins a couple of days ago. Montreal will be playing on short rest after a loss against the Blue Jackets last night, reducing the chances that they’ll play well. Dallas beat the Habs 3-1 in November, so go ahead and select a puckline victory.

Senators at Lightning – Bet Tampa Bay Puckline (-1.5, -120)

Tampa Bay became the first team to hit 100 points in 2018 when they earned their fifth consecutive win on March 10th. They’ve won nine of the their last ten, solidifying their grasp on first place in the eastern conference. Despite a 5-3 win over Florida, Ottawa has lost seven of their last ten during their lost season. Tampa’s moneyline will be -340, an expensive wager for a relatively unpredictable sport. If you want to profit, you’ll need to pick the Lightning puckline at -120.

Jets at Predators – Bet Nashville SU (-185)

This massive clash between Central Division powerhouses will be the marquee match of the night. The Winnipeg Jets won’t be at full strength because of injuries to Scheifele and Trouba. Winnipeg’s playing their second road game in two nights, giving Nashville a significant rest advantage while enjoying a friendly Music City crowd. Expect the Predators to leverage all these advantages into a big win over their divisional rivals, all but clinching first in the Central.

Oilers at Flames – Bet Calgary SU (-180)

Spite will drive the competitive spirit behind this edition of the Battle of Alberta. Fans of the Edmonton Oilers don’t want to feel jealous of rival boosters of the Calgary Flames, preferring both teams to miss the playoffs. The Oilers will have a superb chance to upend the post season dreams of the Flames.

Edmonton’s won seven in a row against Calgary, including three victories this season; the Oil have been playing well, winning three in a row and six of their last ten, so go ahead and pick the Oilers +150 moneyline.

Dirty Dangle Of The Night

Nashville Predators Beat Puckline Against Winnipeg Jets (-1.5, +155)

All indicators suggest that the Winnipeg Jets will suffer a schedule loss this evening against the Predators. Nashville’s been on a roll all month, including a ten-game win streak recent popped by the Devils. The Jets won’t be at full strength, exacerbating the lack of rest. Expect the Predators to bounce back from an overtime loss with a strong performance against Winnipeg.
