Before Philly went on an extended losing streak, they squeaked a 2-1 victory over the Oilers at the Wells Fargo Center. This time around, Philly has a single win in their last ten overall, while Edmonton has been showing signs of life. Bet on Edmonton defending their arena against the invading Flyers.

Blackhawks at Capitals – Bet Washington Puckline (-1.5, +180)

Washington have dominated the Blackhawks by winning seven of their last ten meetings against Chicago. The Blackhawks have lost six straight in the United State capitol, dating back to the 2008-09 season. Making things more difficult for Chicago is the fact that Washington has played well at home this year, earning a 10-5 mark, including a 4-1 hunting of the Sharks on December 4th. Washington beat the puckline against Chicago in four of their six consecutive wins at home, making the spread an acceptable risk for improving the payout.

The puckline for the Toronto Maple Leafs should be considered a bit riskier that the odds suggest because winning a third straight over Calgary by two or more goals is unlikely. However, after shutting out the Coyotes, the Flames have given up 12 goals in two games, suggesting another defensive swoon.
