2016 NFC West Futures Betting Lines
The NFC West should be exciting this season, as the Arizona Cardinals look to repeat as division winners. The books aren’t favoring this though, and have the Seattle Seahawks as small favorites at -111 in this seemingly two team race. The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers are rebuilding and could just prove to be spoilers for the two other teams.
2016 NFL NFC West Outright Betting Lines
At -111, the Seahawks are looking to climb back to the top of the division, and this year, they have the talent to do it. TE Jimmy Graham returns to the team and as for coaching, Pete Caroll has demonstrated that he is the top coach in the division. Other than that, the rest of their offensive line is lackluster, and with the departure of Marshawn Lynch, the team isn’t on the level it has been in years prior. Only Russell Wilson will really continue to dominate, and he is experienced enough now to be able to carry his team if they need it.
Bet Seattle Seahawks -111 On Sports Interaction
The Cardinals are neck and neck with the Seattle Seahawks in terms of play, but they are not as reliant on one player as the Seahawks are. If QB Carson Palmer is ineffective or gets injured, the Cardinals still have a good offensive line and a very dangerous defense to contend with. The problem with the Cards is that they are a year older and injuries could start to come up for core players. WR Larry Fitzgerald is already dealing with a foot injury and RB David Johnson, while lined up to have a good year, can’t carry this team. An advantage the Cards have over the Seahawks though, is scheduling. Both teams have top 10 tough schedules, but the Cards get to take advantage of a Tom Brady-less Patriots team at home on Week 1. The Seahawks will only deal with that team after Brady’s return. In what seems to be a tight battle between the two teams, that potentially ‘easy’ win could be the difference.
2016/17 NFL Schedule and Betting Lines
In passing, the LA Rams and Niners have very little chance to win, and that is reflected in the odds. With coach Chip Kelly leading the Niners, look for them to improve this season from their 5-11 year in 2015. Kelly is a quality coach that can take teams and make them contenders, like he did for the Eagles when he first worked with them. The LA Rams, interestingly enough, beat the Seahawks both times last season, but while they might have some value ATS against them, we won’t be backing them to win the division. Take the Seattle Seahawks at -111 at Sports Interaction and enjoy watching this division, as it could give some surprises.
