– The scoreboard in Indianapolis got a healthy workout on Tuesday night. Golden State (a six point road favourite) outgunned upstart Indiana 131-123 to hit 23-0 on the season. Klay Thompson provided 39 points and Steph Curry racked up a double-double in the victory. Paul George scored 33 for the Pacers in a losing cause. Golden State’s 13-0 road record to start the season is a league-first.

– Shootout heroics from sniper Evgeny Kuznestov and goalkeeper Braden Holtby provided Washington with a 3-2 SO win over Detroit. The Red Wings held the Caps to 2-1 until midway through the 3rd when Alex Ovechkin tied things up. Washington currently holds a one point over the Rangers for top spot in the Metro.

– The hockey world will have to wait a little longer to get some new news on the NHL expansion process. Commissioner Gary Bettman shared this week that there is no timetable in place for sorting out a decision on Quebec City and Las Vegas’ applications to join the league.

– ESPN is reporting that Eagles running back DeMarco Murray spoke with franchise owner Jeffrey Lurie about his limited playing time. Murray, who was the NFL’s rushing champ back in 2014 with Dallas, is coming off a week where he totaled 24 yards on eight carries in Philadelphia’s surprise win over New England. Philly are a one point home underdog for their Week 14 tilt with LeSean McCoy and the Buffalo Bills.
