Tiger-Cats QB Zach Collaros threw three touchdowns and racked up 229 yards throughout the air. The victory has Hamilton clawing their way into a three way tie with Toronto and Ottawa for the top spot in the East Division.

– Newly acquired ex-Tiger David Price more than lived up to expectations on Monday afternoon. The perennial Cy Young candidate racked up 11 Ks over 8 innings as the Blue Jays (the -240 moneyline home favourite) topped Minnesota 5-1 in matinee play. Price wasn’t the only new Jay stepping up at the Rogers Centre. LaTroy Hawkins pitched a flawless final frame and shortstop Troy Tulowitzki touched home twice. These two squads have three more games left in the set, which continues tonight in Toronto.

– ‘Stros starter Lance McCullers was absolutely lit up by the Rangers in AL West play last night. The Rangers teed off on the rookie for six runs and chased him off before the 1st inning was through. Once the dust settled, Texas walked away with the valuable 12-9 home win. Adrian Beltre and Shin-Sin Choo both went yard for Texas, while Carlos Correa, Luis Valbuena and Jason Castro all hit homers in a losing cause. The Rangers currently sit seven games back of their state rival for top spot in the American League West.

– Rockets superstar James Harden already does fairly well for himself, but Adidas wants to make his bank account burst. The sportswear giant have reportedly offered #13 a 13-year-deal worth over $200 million to be their new pitchman. Harden’s previous endorsement deal with Nike has expired, although the shoe giant could attempt to match the offer before the week’s through. Harden’s Houston Rockets are currently pegged as a 16/1 shot to win the 2016 NBA title.
