American Pharoah: Thick Triple Crown Championship Chalk

After his line opened at EVEN money, the odds on American Pharoah and slowly shrunk before settling in at the current 3-5 price posted on the Racebook betting board at Sportsinteraction. The Ruler of the Racetrack has looked sharp since he arrived at Belmont Park on Tuesday but one big question still remains. Can he run a third perfect race, over the tough mile and half at Big Sandy, after just three weeks of rest? We believe he can and will. Google the phrase 2015 Arkansas Derby. Watch the race and listen to the call. Everything you need to know about American Pharoah was spoken during that final Kentucky Derby prep race.

Materiality and Frosted will be along for the long run at Belmont Park

While we can’t see anyone destroying the Triple Crown Dream, we are dropping Materiality and Frosted into our Trifecta. Materiality, sired by Afleet Alex who was the last favorite to win the Belmont back in 2005, was impressive in the G1 Florida Derby before getting a horrible trip at Churchill Downs and finishing sixth in the Kentucky Derby. Frosted, who along with Materiality skipped the Preakness, ran well in the G1 Wood Memorial and then ended a hard charging fourth during the Run for the Roses. Both horses have the pedigree and skill to compete in the Test of the Champion. As the seventh favorite, Keen Ice who finished seventh in the Kentucky Derby is also worth an add on our Trifecta ticket.
