We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! With Christmas just around the corner we look to the league table, where the LeBron and the Lakers still lead the league, just edging out the Bucks.
The Denver Nuggets and Toronto Raptors continue to climb the NBA power rankings, sitting at third and fourth, respectively.
There are numerous great games coming up over the weekend, so let’s get stuck into it.

- 01Dallas Mavericks (1.79) @ Phoenix Suns (2.07)
- 02Milwaukee Bucks (1.16) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (5.62)
- 03Los Angeles Clippers (1.40) @ San Antonio Spurs (3.05)
- 04Dallas Mavericks (3.15) @ Los Angeles Lakers (1.38)
Dallas Mavericks (1.79) @ Phoenix Suns (2.07)
The Mavericks (11-6) have been in fine form this season. The man everyone is talking about is Luca Doncic, but it’s been a team effort by all accounts.
They lost out 114-99 to the Clippers in their last, but overcame James Harden and the Rockets in the game before.
The combination of Luca alongside the likes Kristaps Porzingis, Maxi Kleber and Tim Hardaway Jr., has proven to be a force in the league.
The Suns will need to stop Dallas on Saturday, if they are to stand a chance against a team putting up an average of 117.9 per game.
Phoenix are 8-9 for the season outright and are looking to snap a two-game losing streak. They’ll turn to Devin Booker again in this one, as he’s averaging 24.9 per game.
Expect the Mavs to win in Phoenix.
Milwaukee Bucks (1.16) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (5.62)
Milwaukee come into this one looking for a tenth straight win. They have been excellent in all areas of the court and are led by the number one candidate for the 2020 NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The “Greek Freak” has been playing in his usual otherworldly fashion, racking up 50 points in their game against the Utah Jazz midweek. Though his team around him are contributing, it’s hard to argue with the fact he’s a one-man team.
The Cavs, who are 5-13 for the season, have been having a rough time of late. They’ve managed one win in their last nine games are are really struggling to make an impression on the league.
Cleveland hold one of the lowest offensive points average per game (104.4) and are 28th in the NBA league tables.
Of all the games this weekend, this is the most lop-sided. The NBA betting odds heavily favour the Bucks and in the form they’re in, it’s no surprise.
Take the Bucks to win on the road.
Los Angeles Clippers (1.40) @ San Antonio Spurs (3.05)
The Clippers (14-5) have really picked up their game in the last week or two. They’ll be looking for their eighth win in a row against the Spurs.
The Los Angeles Clippers have relied on a number of stars to come up with the goods this campaign. Paul George, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell and the soon-to-return Kawhi Leonard have all been putting up points.
The Spurs were putting together some decent performances at the start of the season, but have since gone downhill. They’re going 6-13 for the season outright.
They’re on for their third loss on the trot, and there aren’t many worse teams to come up against right now. But, Gregg Popovich will be well-prepared and look to attack this Clippers team, though we see the Clippers having too much.
Take the Clippers to win at the AT&T center.
Dallas Mavericks (3.15) @ Los Angeles Lakers (1.38)
This is without a doubt the best game of the final November weekend. An in-form Mavericks will be coming into this one hungry after losing to the Clippers, and the Lakers, we don’t need to explain the Lakers - easily our NBA free pick of the weekend.
LeBron has been excellent this season alongside Anthony Davis, they’ve formed a formidable partnership.
James is currently on 25.8 points per game and leads the league in assists on 11.0 per game for the season.
The Lakers are 15-2 outright for the season and will be searching for their tenth straight win.
But they’ll be up against the Mavericks, who will be fresh out of a game against the Suns.
The Mavericks took a loss in their last against the Clippers and if they don’t bounce back, then we can see the Lakers taking this one with ease.
However, if Dallas comes out and stomp the Suns, then this game will be very interesting. One for the fans as well as neutrals, don’t miss this.
Expect the Lakers to win in Los Angeles.
