They have yet to win a Super Bowl. In the 22 years that the franchise has existed, the Carolina Panthers have been in the playoffs seven times. In the past five years, they have been in the playoffs three times, the most recent of which was last season ( 2015-2016).
The main strength of the Carolina Panthers is Cam Newton. As a quarterback, he has shown experience and skill. Moreover, he has lead his offence to success, most notably, the NFC Championship in the 2015-2016 season. When it comes to the weaknesses, the Carolina Panthers seem to be an overall shallow team. They seem to lack depth and diversity in back up players.
Yet, the Panthers have preformed excellently in the 2015-2016 season. They finished first in their NFC South Division. As stated earlier, they finished first in the NFC Conference as well. Yet, they fell short of a Super Bowl, losing to the Denver Broncos 10-24. When betting on the Carolina Panthers, it’s important to remember that they made it to the Super Bowl and are the best team in the NFC. Yet, with this new season, it’s undetermined if the Carolina Panthers will continue to be the strong force that they were in 2015.
