Nicolle Neulist
Nicolle Neulist caught the horse racing bug in 2013, and since then has been handicapping and writing about horse racing constantly. Nicolle lives in Chicago and goes to Hawthorne and Arlington for every live race day. Nicolle has also travelled to write about races all over North America, including tracks like Woodbine, Santa Anita, Churchill Downs, Del Mar, and Tampa Bay Downs.
Nicolle sees horse racing as a game of information: from past performances, to trip notes, to determining every horse's optimal running style, it's about synthesizing all of that into the most likely picture. Nicolle also loves to study pedigree. In maiden races, or races in which horses are trying a new surface or distance, studying the horses' breeding in detail can unlock real value.
