Dallas are off to one of the most demoralizing 2-0 starts in NFL history. The Cowboys headed into Philly on Sunday afternoon as a seven point road underdog and exited with a 20-10 win. Terrance Williams snared in four passes including one for a TD in Dez Bryant’s absence, but the team is in a tough spot with superstar pivot Tony Romo exiting the action with a collarbone injury. Early reports see the Cowboys without Romo for somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 to 10 weeks. Backup Brendon Weedan was a promising 7 for 7 in relief with a touchdown. More details on Romo’s condition are expected to become available today.

- The very heated series between NL Central rivals Chicago and St. Louis wrapped up on Sunday. Carlos Martinez put in a strong 6+ inning start to score his 14th win of the season as the Cards (a +130 underdog) topped the Cubs 4-3 at Wrigley. Thomas Pham and Stephen Piscotty both went yard for St. Louis in the victory and hold a four game lead over Pittsburgh in the division.
- The Bills and Patriots traded touchdowns in Western New York on Sunday afternoon. Tom Brady racked up 466 yards and threw 3 TD passes as New England thumped Buffalo 40-32. The Bills clawed their way back into in the game in the 4th with 19 catchup points, but it just wasn’t enough. An interception snapped up by Logan Ryan ended Buffalo’s final drive and that result has the Patriots opening the season at 2-0.
- The Baltimore Ravens will have to dig themselves out of an 0-2 start in 2015. John Harbaugh’s squad fell 37-33 to Oakland on Sunday afternoon. Derek Carr tossed a TD pass to Seth Roberts with seconds remaining to bring the Raiders to victory. Oakland’s passing game was definitely on point in the win as Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper both had 100 yards receiving for the silver and black.
- Chicago’s QB situation has gotten murky. The Bears were lit up 48-23 by the visiting Cardinals and QB Jay Cutler was sidelined by a hamstring injury. Arizona’s quarterback had no trouble on Sunday. Carson Palmer threw four touchdowns in this Illinois-set beatdown.
