Pothead States of Washington and Colorado Face Off at “Super Bowl”
Denver Broncos: Out to prove offense wins Championships
Following a record setting NFL 2013 regular season, that saw Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense score an average of 37.87 points per game, Denver rolls into the Meadowlands hoping to dispel the logic that defense wins Championships. Manning is facing Seattle for the fourth time in his career (2-2 record, some meaningless games, and all as the Colts QB) and the first time since the Colts registered a 34 -17 during Week 4 action in 2009. We’re not going to go into the cold weather debate – it’s rubbish. We fully expect that The General will post a solid outing and, as such, a 25 of 36 for 256 yards 3 TD and 1 INT stat line would not be a surprise here. We like the Broncos!
Seattle Seahawks: Out of the The Link – May be in hostile territory
One has to give credit to Seattle football fans. Whether they are greening out or not, few crowds power up and propel their home town hero’s quite the way the 12th Man does at CenturyLink Field. The Seahawks continued their hot run at home (17-1 the last two seasons) with a 23-17 win over the 49ers last weekend. While a ton of Hawk fans will make the cross-country trek to New Jersey – the Seattle home field advantage will largely remain in the Evergreen State. When handicapping Super Bowl XLVIII – bettors should give the home field advantage check mark to the Broncos – especially since they are the designated “home” team – playing in Eli’s Stadium.
Canada Sports Betting Early Forecast & Super Bowl XLVIII Odds
Fortunate to get in on the Denver at +1 (115) ATS opening line posted late Sunday night, we still see the current Super Bowl prices at sportsbetting.ag as being very reasonable. Make no mistake, Seattle’s defense is the best in the league and one of the best ever. This match-up has a lot in common with the 49ers vs Broncos Super Bowl XXIV battle – a Championship won 55-10 by San Francisco’s high flying #1 ranked offense over the rock solid #1 ranked Denver defense. We see a Rocky Mountain high on the horizon – lay the line and bake with the Broncos!
