PGA Futures Betting: Major Tournament Action Opens in Augusta
Golf fans are on the edge of their seats as the 2014 PGA Grand Slam chase is ready to roll. Our personal favorite, The Masters Tournament, is the first of four Major Championships and it’s followed by the US Open, the British Open and the PGA Championship. Bet365 bookmakers have now posted odds on all of these great golf events – and then some!
The Masters: An experience like no other fires up in Augusta
Options for betting on the Masters, the first leg of the PGA Grand Slam, are as varied as the amazing holes at the Augusta National Golf Club. What do you want to wager on? The top American? Who will miss the cut? Maybe the Nationality of the Champion? These options and more are currently posted on the betting board at the Bet365 online wagering website. Our favorite on the list is the money lines prices for the “To Make Cut” option. Defending Champion Adam Scott has made it to the third round of the Masters in ten of his twelve visits to Augusta.
Futures Betting: US Open, British Open and PGA Championships
Golf bettors wanting to get out ahead of the field can place futures wagers on the US Open, British Open and PGA Championships as bookmakers at Bet365 have posted “To Win Outright” prices on all three tournaments. Rory Mcllroy, one of the Masters favorites, is currently top chalk to win the US Open at Pinehurst in June with a +700 price. Eldrick Woods (+900) is a favorite when the PGA field jumps the pond for The Open Championship at the Royal Liverpool UK course in July. Mcllroy and Woods, both with +700 money line odds, are top chalk when the 2014 PGA Grand Slam wraps up with the PGA Championship at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY, in August. Handicappers who convince themselves - and anyone else who will listen - that the Kentucky Derby is just another race probably haven't cashed too many tickets on the first Saturday in May. The truth is people should bet the Derby differently because of just how unlike any other race it is.

Looking like the cream of the CFL crop, Calgary is in British Columbia and the Stampeders lead the Lions by a half game in the West Division. Meeting for the third time this season, these rivals hit the gridiron at 10:00 PM ET on August 19, 2016, at BC Place in Vancouver.
