Sweet 16 action continues on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 7:15 PM ET when the Oregon Ducks and Louisville Cardinals meet at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. With a berth in the Elite Eight on the line, the number one seed Cardinals should have no problem advancing. We will back Louisville tonight.
Louisville Cardinals: Number one seed safe
With two number one seeds already out of the tourney, Louisville has to be feeling the pressure to advance. They should have no trouble with doing so on Friday night in this Sweet 16 game with Oregon. The Cardinals finished 14-4 in the Big East and were an impressive 15-1 at home this season. They have won 12 straight games and finished the regular season on a 10-game winning streak, including wins in the Big East.
Oregon Ducks: Shot at knocking off a No. 1 seed
Oregon enters this game on a five-game winning streak, including three straight in the Pac-12 Tournament. They finished with just eight losses this season and a 12-6 mark in the conference. With a shot at knocking off a number one seed and grabbing a spot in the Elite Eight, the Ducks have a chance to make history on Friday night. They are major underdogs as the number 12 seed and should struggle versus Louisville tonight.
For tonight’s game between Louisville and Oregon, we find the line at Bet365.com. Louisville is favored at -10.5 (-110) and Oregon is a major underdog at +10.5 (-110). The Over/Under is set at 129.5 total points between the two teams. In what should be a very easy win for Louisville, we will back the Cardinals and the Under 129.5 at (-110). March Madness continues to impress in 2013 and this game should be no different.
