We are looking at the Oklahoma City Thunder vs the Houston Rockets and the San Antonio Spurs vs the Los Angeles Lakers. We will bet on the Thunder and the Spurs to advance pass the first round as they move towards the NBA Finals.
Oklahoma City Thunder: Headed back to the finals
Oklahoma City begins its defense of the Western Conference title when they take on the eighth-seeded Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs. In three meetings this season, the Thunder won two games, losing the third by a score of 122-119. We like the Thunder in this opening-round series.
San Antonio Spurs: Looking for return to the Western Finals
Spurs fans enjoyed an incredibly fun regular season as they enter the playoffs with the second seed. They will take on the seventh-seeded Lakers, who needed the final day of the regular season to grab a playoff spot and move out of the eight-seed position. The Spurs lead this season series two games to one.
In the Western Conference, we find the odds for each team to win the conference at WilliamHill.com. The one-seed Thunder have +120 odds to win the West. The Rockets have +6,600 odds, the two-seed Spurs have +175 odds, and the Lakers have +2,000 odds. We will bet the Thunder to win the West at +120.

Scotiabank and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment agreed to a record-breaking, 20-year deal to rename the Air Canada Centre. Starting July 1st, 2018, the ACC will be known as Scotiabank Arena. The third largest bank in Canada will pay $800 million for the privilege, raising the bar for naming rights across North America.
