Our seasoned NFL handicapping crew is still hunkered down in their war room bunker as they pour over the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl XLVIII match-up. As such, we thought we would give our trusty intern a shot at discussing a Super Bowl prop wagering option currently posted on the williamhill.com big board. Although he might be as high as some of the good “GREEN” folks in Washington and Colorado State, we said “have it” when his prop conversation choice featured Peyton Manning vs Robert Wilson.
So let’s get to the point, let’s roll another joint….
With Super Bowl XLVIII being a battle of the only two US States that legally allow personal pot use, and because I have heard them about twenty times this week, I can’t get those Tom Petty lyrics out of my head. Whether yours truly, a humble intern who fetches donuts and stuff for the CSB Crew, is high or not is for me to know and for the boss to find out. While I understand that comparing Peyton Manning to Russell Wilson is akin to rating a Cadillac versus a Caravan, there are several Super Bowl prop betting options that tie the two together. The QB comparison begins with bookmakers at the William Hill sportsbook projecting that a starting pivot will be going to Disneyland.
Peyton Manning vs Russell Wilson: Super Bowl XLVIII MVP Battle
William Hill bookmakers figure that one of the starting quarterbacks is going to win the Super Bowl MVP award as Manning is top chalk at EVEN money while Wilson is a distant second with a +350 money line price. If you agree, then you have to back the QB from the team you believe is going to win this bowl battle. I like Denver but, I’m not sure either pivot will be the MVP. I’m going out on a few limbs with small “Sawbuck” bets to back RB Knowshon Moreno (+3330) WR Eric Decker (+4000) and PK Matt Prater (+20000). Mamma needs to fill her bowl baby!

The third largest bank in Canada will pay $800 million for the privilege, raising the bar for naming rights across North America.
Handicappers who convince themselves - and anyone else who will listen - that the Kentucky Derby is just another race probably haven't cashed too many tickets on the first Saturday in May. The truth is people should bet the Derby differently because of just how unlike any other race it is.
Instead of trying to figure out which backup National Football League players are better than others, while betting on NFL preseason action, we turn to fight for first in Canadian Football League. Looking like the cream of the CFL crop, Calgary is in British Columbia and the Stampeders lead the Lions by a half game in the West Division. Meeting for the third time this season, these rivals hit the gridiron at 10:00 PM ET on August 19, 2016, at BC Place in Vancouver.
