The Atlantic division appears to be Tampa’s for the taking. On paper, their team is maturing and poised to have their best season since they won the Cup. They won their first and and only Stanley Cup back in 2003-04, and have 2 division titles and 2 conference championships. That’s clearly not a lot of history for a team that has already won a Cup. Compare that to THE St. Louis Blues who’ve played 48 seasons without a Cup.
They have also seen a few great player skate across their ice over the years. This includes names like Martin St. Louis, Vincent Lecavalier, Steven Stamkos,Brad Richards, Vaclav Prospal, Brian Bradley, Fredrik Modin, Chris Gratton, Dan Boyle and Pavel Kubina.

Bet On Tampa Bay Lightning Games
Looking to bet on the Lightening next year? Look for a massive regular season, but we’re not sure how ready the team will be for the playoffs. Their is goaltending still unproven, and need to be better for them to content.
As for general NHL betting,, remember that bad teams actually win a decent number of games. The top tier teams win about 70% of their games. Whereas the lower class teams still win about 30% of their games. There’s balance and parity throughout the whole NHL, and betting lines will reflect that fact. So you may not see the payoff potential you would see elsewhere in other sports, if you’re betting on underdogs.
At the same time, you may have heard of the zigzag theory when betting on the NHL. In a nutshell, you’re betting on a team that just lost, because they are due to bounce back and win. This is a pretty good strategy when two average and equal teams are playing each other.
Its weakness is it doesn’t factor in hot goaltenders, injuries, or a few other things that may be causing a team to lose games. At the same time, it doesn’t really apply to strong or weak teams that are likely to go on a long streak.
