Bet On Montreal Alouettes Games

Hitting the 70 year mark in 2016, the Alouettes were met with meddling results throughout most of their junior and middle age years, but after hitting the half century mark things began to take off. From 2000 to 2012 the Als were nearly unstoppable, winning nine division titles and making eight Grey Cups. The fact they were only able to win three Cups is a bit of a blemish, but otherwise bettors and fans would be hard pressed to find a similar stretch of success for any other CFL team.

The fans of Montreal demand a quality product and because of this the team struggled to fill their old home, prompting them to move to a smaller, but better venue. The Als play at Molson Memorial Stadium for eight of their nine home games per season and host a single game at Olympic Stadium which has a capacity more than double that of Molson Memorial. Check game location to know in advance what game is being played in the big house.

The Montreal Alouettes recent success can be attributed to their consistency they had behind center. Quarterback Anthony Calvillo anchored the team through their impress run and guided them to three Grey Cup titles since the year 2000. The Als have not been able – yet – to replace the veteran under center, but bettors will surely notice the lines move once the Alouettes have found their suitable long term replacement.

The rivals of the Alouettes include the BC Lions and the Toronto Argos. Their classic Labour Day rival is BC, a team that twice defeated them in the Grey Cup during the 2000s. There is great potential for a rivalry to develop between the Ottawa Redblacks and Montreal has they are located about two hours from each other.
