Basketball Betting Offers

From preseason to cutting down the nets, from group stage to the gold medal showdown, there are basketball games and basketball fans across the globe making their bets. We help you with your choices on what games to play with a few helpful options and explanations below.

How To Win Basketball Bets

Money Line Betting. The most popular bet in basketball is the money line. Among the major sports basketball usually is the most predictable. Intangibles factor in the results of other sports, but when it come to hoops, better talent is usually all it takes to win. Most of the money lines for basketball reflect this. For example if the San Antonio Spurs are favourites against the Minnesota Timberwolves the Spurs would have a number at -475 meaning you would have to put down $475 on San Antonio to win to collect $100. The T-Wolves would have a line of +320 meaning that a $100 bet on Minnesota would net you $320.

Betting the Spread. You can also bet on the spread, which involves the number of points by which a team wins or loses the game. For example, if a game has a spread of six, you can bet on whthers or not the winner will win by six points or more.

Over/Under. Bets involving a game’s points total are also popular. You can wager on both sides combining to score more than (over) or less than (under) a specific total. In the is example if the Grizzlies and Clippers are playing each other and the total is set at 211.5 and you picked over, both sides would have to score at least 212 points for you to win. If you like the under then a winning bet would mean the two teams scored a combined 211 or less for you to win.
