NHL Puck Betting Parlay Prediction: Back the Penguins and Ducks

NHL Puck Betting Parlay Prediction: Back the Penguins and Ducks
A couple of late night National Hockey League matches are our focus today as the Pittsburgh Penguins visit the Edmonton Oilers at 9:00 PM ET prior to the Anaheim Ducks vs Columbus Blue Jackets contest at 10:00 PM ET. The Penguins have turned the corner sooner but both Pittsburgh and Anaheim appear to be putting their early season struggles behind them. Edmonton meanwhile begins life without super rookie Connor McDavid while Columbus is still finding their way under new coach John Tortorella. These contests hit the ice at Rexall Place in Edmonton, AB, and the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, on November 6, 2015.

Pittsburgh vs Edmonton: Penguins visit downtrodden Oilers

Snapping out of a season opening three-game losing streak, Pittsburg is on a roll as they have won eight of their last nine contests. The hot streak as moved the Penguins to within two points of Metropolitan Division leading Washington. After posting just twelve goals during their first eight games, Pittsburgh has tickled the twine 14 times during their last four matches. Following a rough start to their season, things have gone from bad to worse as Edmonton (4-8) begins life without rookie phenom Connor McDavid. The first overall pick in the 2015 NHL Draft is out indefinitely with a broken clavicle suffered during the Oilers 4-2 win at home over the Flyers on Tuesday night.

Ducks vs Blue Jackets: Anaheim hosts Columbus with both teams starting to  heat up

Following a rough 1-7-2 start to their season, Anaheim is turning things around as they returned home from a five-game road trip and posted 4-2 and 3-2 (OT) wins over Nashville and Florida. Though the offense is coming around, the Ducks have been largely shooting blanks as their 1.3 goals per game is the worst mark in the NHL. After missing four games due to an appendectomy, Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf is expected back in the lineup tonight. Columbus (4-10) concludes a three-game swing through California feeling pretty good after 5-2 and 3-2 wins in San Jose and Los Angeles. That said, playing on back-to-back nights with travel is not going to be easy.

Penguins Plus Ducks NHL Parlay Betting Prediction: How Edmonton reacts during their first game without McJesus is anyone’s guess but don’t expect Pittsburgh to feel sorry for them as they seek their sixth straight win. As mentioned, the Blue Jackets may be a little flat as they are playing their third road game in four nights. Three of the four goaltenders are backups in these contests tonight as Jeff Zatkoff (PIT) Anders Nilsson (EDM) and Curtis McElhinney (CBJ) get rare starts while regular starter Frederik Andersen gets the call for Anaheim. Give us the Penguins and Ducks with a 300 unit parlay wager on the money line prices posted at the William Hill online sportsbook.
