NHL Parlay Betting: Montreal and Tampa Bay are Home Ice Best Bets
Parlay Leg One: Montreal Canadiens vs Colorado Avalanche
Following a 4-3 shootout loss to the Penguins, in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night, Montreal (13-2-2) returns home to host Colorado. The Canadiens are the only NHL club that hasn’t lost on home ice in regulation time this season as the Habs are 7-0-1 at the Bell Center. Apart from their 2-1 loss in overtime to Ottawa on Tuesday, the Habs have been lights out at home as their seven wins are by a combined 28-8 margin. Following wins in Philadelphia (4-0) and Boston (3-2), Colorado plays the third of seven-game east coast road trip tonight. The Avalanche (6-9-1) will be without their captain and third leading scorer Gabriel Landeskog after he was assessed a two-game suspension for a hit to the head of Brad Marchand in Boston on Thursday. We are hitting les Habitants here.
Parlay Leg Two: Tampa Bay Lightning vs Florida Panthers rounds out our two-team ticket
An all Florida fight makes up the second leg of our parlay as the 8-8-2 Tampa Bay Lightning host the 6-7-3 Florida Panthers in the first game of a home-and-home duel. Hot out of the starting gate, with three straight wins by a 13-6 margin, the Lightning have been flickering on offense recently as they’ve been outscored 19-15 during a 3-6-0 stumble. Florida is a work in progress as the Panthers are 6-7-3 and they have earned just four out of a possible 14 points (1-4-2) during their last seven games. The Bolts are fresh off a 3-1 home win over Calgary on Wednesday while the Cats dropped a 3-2 decision in South Beach versus Buffalo on Thursday. Strike with the Lightning in this contest.
